This is a weird one cuz its technically a pre-menu theme.
Absolutely love the atmosphere though. Sets up the game perfectly. Easily one of my favorite games of all time.
Classic and one of the best games ever made. Dat multiplayer. Dat single player. The music, atmosphere and GFX.

Damn I haven't heard that in a long time. It really evoked the sense of wonder, space and exploration. God I miss Mass Effect.

I remember hearing Actraiser when I was about 7 and I was like whoaaaaaa.
And Tekken 2 when I was like 12 or 13 and it was amazing.

4's version is really amazing and gets credit for being the first to extend the theme IIRC but 6 just did it the best I think. It's still the one to beat.
Halo 3 is a very important game to me and just hearing the menu theme at the time was epic. I would just have it on for a bit before actually playing the game just to hear it. So good.
I'm voting for Mirror's Edge. Honorable mentions include Mass Effect, Final Fantasy X-2, and Ocarina of Time.
Halo 3 ia way too iconic to not be the top choice in this.

It's not like this is catchy or anything but it's incredible. Amazing foreboding atmosphere. What makes it even better is as far as I can tell, there's either several variations of the theme, or it's just somewhat randomized cuz I swear I hear different shit every time I hear it.
No way I'm leaving my top 5 to 3 or higher game of all time off this.
