So... Just to clarify... Isn't the 11-day early Access benefit limited to like 5 or 10 hours? It's not full and unlimited access starting on November 9th right?

Same gameplay? Except for rebalancing the squad mechanics, healing, ammo distribution, movement, recoil, calling airstrikes, destruction, moving support weapons, bullet penetration, building emplacements and bridges... Not to mention new modes.
Basically, you know shit about the game based on that one demo that you have seen.
Only for Premier
only for regular access members
Access Premiere......which is PC exclusive gets the entire game, no limitations......obviously the date above isn't correct now, but you get the point
On the contrary, most of the features you word were already present in Bad Company 2, which for me was the apex of the franchise. Yeah, now there's less amunition, yep, they changed a bit the ballistics, oh, now the health bar works in phases (didn't Killzone or Resistance worked in similar way?)... Minor changes. And some of them, like building the defensive placements, heavily critized (takes you a minute to craft what a tank blows in two shots).
The game can wear a a new and shiny tuxedo (raytracing and so) but below the surface has the same old dusty bones which started to smell to embalmed mummy hald a decade ago...
But BFV has not been tracking well. It needed a better window with less competition so this is a good move imo
Can a better release window make up for the fact that the game itself has been close a to marketing fail so far?
Honest question.
so now they are going full damage control, right? Guess the Bad Company 2 remaster idea isn't so crazy now
this 100% confirms it, it's because of the preorders, IMO
I disagree. This gives them just enough breathing room from the other big releases.
1. It allows time for people to finish or tire of playing the other titles
2. Gives people a chance to gather enough funds to buy another game
3. Still just in time for the holidays
4. Gives them another month of marketing
This is a smart decision.
• Tank customization
• Downed teammate dragging
• Co-op bot mode
Full list of the delayed features.
Clawhand prosthetic, most impractical thing to have if you are supposed to be front line soldier. Looked so out of place.
You forgot the BR mode and the fact that there are only 2 factions at launch and we don't even know yet how many maps there will be at launch.

Oh weird... I didn't see/hear/experience any of that personally. What "big community people" are saying this? Wonder if it's a PC vs Console thing? (i'm on PC)
It looks unusual but appearantly it was a real thing back then so it's not really a problem. I'm looking forward to see the reload animations with this thing.
Maybe play outside of EA?Lol WTF, was a tiered release always known?
Man DICE/EA really have lost touch.
More and more I think I'm just done with gaming as a hobby.
ThisI wonder if that gives them enough time to get the battle royale mode in for launch.
I wish there was another FPS that brought me as much hours of entertainment as the BF Bad Company, BF3, BF4 did.
But I'm sure people will still play these games in November and don't need another AAA title in November. Expect it's a completely different game like Smash. It's a good idea. Competing with CoD, Red Dead, Forza, and Assassin's Creed is a tall task. November, by comparison, is a bit sparse.
Damn this game is getting hammered on social media. This game is going through a crazy ride.
If I wasn't already boycotting EA I would for sure skip any game that did this. That is just pure trash imo.
Why would they delay a game a whole month on all platforms for something that only a fraction of users on one platform are going to be able to take advantage of?I'm guessing RTX Raytracing implementation? While the demo at Nvidia was impressive, it was clear more work and optimization had to be done.
Either way, more time for Dark Souls Switch.
EA needs to fuck off. Hitman 2 already had enough to contend with by releasing around the same time as fallout and now it has to deal with this too.
Unfortunately some mistakes have been made from either the marketing team, DICE, EA spokespeople that has rubbed people the wrong way but regardless of that I'm very much looking forward to playing this and even upgrading my PC for it.
Because PC games make a substantial portion of their base? Not to mention games like Battlefield are often used by PC gamers as a benchmark for game performance. Why would they delay a game a whole month on all platforms for something that only a fraction of users on one platform are going to be able to take advantage of?
Alternate reality?I didn't pre order, this alternate reality take on the war is a little weird for me to get over. Like if you wanted to make a fantasy game, they could have done so.
BF 3-4 was probably the best it will ever be.
I was not a fan of BF1, so what do I know.
