The only way to pre-load the trial is by searching for the game on the Xbox app and pressing download to console. Once the trial is live you should be able to access directly from your console.Last time, and then I'll shut up, can anyone either link me or tell me where the option to download gamepasss trial on Xbox is? If you are at 1080p low settings you should be getting a lot more than that. These games are very RAM dependant some good ram with good timings can give you upto 50FPS increases in Battlefield games.Graphically, this game looks really nice from the vids coming out
Good to know, thanks
I would expect AOW to be the most taxing, it is doing a lot more than any other BF game prior to it has. Conquest on BF1/V would bring my fps down to 80-100 depending on what was happening on screen (with a 3080/3700x) so I guess it shouldn't be too surprising in fairness. Still not ideal tho
You get Hazard Zone and Portal, two new core pillars that weren`t there in previous BF games. I wouldn`t call that "giving you less"...
You think the resources and hours that would have been used to create the single player campaign, weren't instead used to develop elements of what we see in 2042?
Well, that is silly.Wait...the game doesn't have voice chat?!
"Here's the thing, though: Battlefield 2042 doesn't have its own voice chat — at least, not yet. During the event, EA and DICE divided players into pre-made squads and offered them Discord channels. According to DICE, there are plans to add voice chat after launch, but as of this writing, no one has confirmed to me when this might happen."
Battlefield 2042 is a reminder of how good the series can be
Albeit with a few glaring problemswww.polygon.com
Oh shit alot more solid then i was expecting. Big improvement over the beta. Just general feels BF again.
First match already cool moments haha.
zero so far. peformance solid also. But i have VRR. And the beta ran fine for me also.hows the graphics and performance compared to beta? Any visual glitches?
None of the modes I mentioned is a Battle Royale, lol.like they weren't going to include a Battle Royale mode either way.
Yeah, that's true.If you are at 1080p low settings you should be getting a lot more than that. These games are very RAM dependant some good ram with good timings can give you upto 50FPS increases in Battlefield games.
Jackfrags just some pure gameplay up. God damn I just want to play it right now.
It's not available yet, it will in a few hrs and it will show up in the Gamepass app either on console or on mobile.
Yup

I was watching this and as soon as I saw Arica Harbor come up I just went and bought the game.
Man stop, my hype can only go so high.
Ooof I know it's trivial, but that screen looks garbage compared to the map screens in BFV. Hopefully gets updated
No idea what is with the screen i made tho. Didnt look like that ingame. Alot cleaner. Maybe the upload is abit messy with dolby vision enabledOoof I know it's trivial, but that screen looks garbage compared to the map screens in BFV. Hopefully gets updated
depends. If they keep adding maps and weapons consistent.Portal is the only thing why I'm still excited about this game, I just wonder how much longevity it has? Playing old content again is fun, but for how long.
I really preferred how vehicles worked in BF1 and BFV, having limited ammo so as to not promote camping, and having to leave your safe camping spot to go and resupply while out of ammo.
That's not what I said. I said the resources that would have been spent on a largely redundant single player campaign have instead been put to work delivering content for the multiplayer. Levelcap in his video said he "feels comfortable in saying that the stuff to do in this game far exceeds that of any past Battlefield by a significant margin" so I'm pretty confident in saying cutting the SP had a bearing on achieving that.you think BF multi suffered in the past because they had a campaign?
Moving to NZ.What the shit? How do they play early? I have a Gold Edition and says 8 Hours to go.
Can I use a VPN for early access through PC game pass? Or is that just for folks that bought the ultimate edition
This wait is killing me lmao

Damn full match on Caspian Border with M16. Tears in my eyes haha
Gunplay feels solid also. Also i love the little end screens for outstanding performances. Nice touch and then after that a nice best of squad screen with good info
Thank god It's not PS5. I bought the bullshit edition to play early. On Xbox consoles (and a bit differently on PC for genuine Xbox store games),
