It's funny because the stuff that's been most well received are the animated adaptations of Castlevania, League of Legends and Pokemon. There's also been some decent comic books based on video games like Sonic and Street Fighter. Hell, there's even a pretty large fan base for the Halo novels too. All that said, what are some video games that you'd like to adapted into a animated movie/TV show, comic, novel, board game or anything else that isn't a live-action production?

The Metal Gear Solid board game that was getting made looked pretty cool and I was excited for it because of the designer, but that fell through last I heard. I wish we could see more video game IPs get tabletop translations (and have them actually be great games too, and not just be the IP being given to Steamforged Games to crank out 100lbs of plastic miniatures for, like what has happened with Dark Souls, ResiEvil, Horizon:ZD, and others).

I'm hoping Jasco one of these days can expand upon their Street Fighter Miniatures Game by adding Darkstalkers to it. Darkstalkers miniatures and combat on the tabletop would be a dream come true. I'd buy it solely for a Morrigan miniature; the game and other characters would be a nice bonus!
