how so? Like long press I suppose, but I am guessing it doesn't also include press harder to select and drag to move selection? (I don't have a non-3D touch phone)
Never, this will be 100 to 150 below the Xs imoXR doesn't seem bad to me depending on the price, I don't know why you're shitting on it, it could cost 300 less or similar.
text entry. 3D Touch to move the cursor around like a mouse does. press harder to select a word and drag the selection. etc.
I was hoping the R was going to all aluminum. I don't like the glass back of the 7/8
Smaller than a Plus though..?
I can't understand the super tiny phone obsession. Like I get wanting to avoid Plus sizes and bigger, but it's so hard to do anything on a 5C size or smaller. I had to use my old 5 for a week when my iPhone 6 was dead and it was so difficult to go back to, even just from a messaging perspective.
Sounds like it's worse, no? It's just single camera.
Not sure about the other use case. I only used 3d touch for the trackpad and now that can be done without it.how so? Like long press I suppose, but I am guessing it doesn't also include press harder to select and drag to move selection? (I don't have a non-3D touch phone)
None at all if you followed the leaks.
And will go up again after the prices lolInterestingly, AAPL stock goes up during Watch announcement and back down with the phones.
Really, the only thing why I would consider it is that 6.5 inch display. But no 4k screen is kind of a bummer.
I believe it will be $700. Which is not cheap. But certainly quite a bit cheaper than their other phones, especially when you consider that tons of people just do payment plans now
Personally, screen size hasn't been an issue at all. But you're right. That's one positive from the newer model
It's a phone, messaging device, internet device, and occasional camera. The iPhone SE is perfect for my needs. Small, unassuming, out of the way. Does its job and then tucks away into my pocket. Anything bigger is absurd and unnecessary.

ahh... yeah I use copy and paste almost as much as just moving the cursor.. especially grabbing stuff to throw in an iMessage. Not sure about the other use case. I only used 3d touch for the trackpad and now that can be done without it.
sort of. yeah you don't get the 2.4f telephoto.. but you get the better ISP. so it's a toss up.
