Yup. I'd have loved to see it, and had my hopes up last time, so this time I'm not raising up my hopes for either of these things. There was in the lead-up to BoTW's release. Ain't gonna happen with this being a direct sequel tho
If she isn't playable this time around then I feel like it is nothing short of stubborn chauvinism.
Exactly this.Or the staff just think that Link is the protagonist, which is the most likely thing happening as he's the face of the franchise in the games, merchandise, crossovers and so on. It's not complicated.
Hoping she's playable, but knowing Nintendo I really doubt it.
I may be building myself up for disappointment but the trailer made me feel like both Link and Zelda will be playable. It just gave off a duo adventure vibe.
Sorry, I meant personality-wise but yeah I guess so.. Link could teach her how to fight and she could occasionally unlock more of her powers; even though Link is getting powers at the same time. That kinda leaves out the thing where by the end of it she unlocked her powers and kept Ganon in-check for 100 years. Seems like this game would be the perfect place to explore these powers.
True, but that's what I meant.. she doesn't seem like the princess that fights unlike the OoT, TP, and WW Zeldas. However, she could learn how to fight so that's cool. Whatever works, I'm down for it.To be fair, that was before her powers were unlocked. She was just a civilian with no weapons then.
I can't actually people really believed this....This motherfucker lmao
Wasn't he doing the same shit when people thought Link was a girl in botw early on and he started to dive into "oh wow isn't that interesting" territory.
Saving it for the "big reveal." Long time coming and a huge shame if she isn't.
As long as it isn't forced co-op (friend or AI). Then we are good.
Well, fuck me, had never thought of a co-op Zelda but that sounds like it can have such huge potential if done rightI have a feeling we getting a co-op game. Maybe even taking cues from Ueda
Something that I was thinking when rewatching the trailer and seeing Zelda's mannerism is.. how do you guys think that Zelda can be playable? Because she obviously can't use the same abilities of Link and she's more of a sorcerer. Even so, in Botw she wasn't at the front lines but using magic only at the end with the triforce to destroy ganon. So I wonder how she would be considering that she can't be link and she can't be OP like that ending. lol
Sincerrly, I hope she's not playable. I find the botw version of Zelda really insufferable and whiny. Just give me a Tetra-like Zelda princess and we'll be fine.
Then let her be a sorcerer. It would make for 2 different gameplay styles which is much better than a skin of Link.Something that I was thinking when rewatching the trailer and seeing Zelda's mannerism is.. how do you guys think that Zelda can be playable? Because it's an arduous task, physically demanding.
Just let her gather a few stamina vessels she'll be fine.
I'll help you, let's co-op on burning this building!if this fucking thing is co-op and you can only play as Zelda in 2 player I'm gonna set the building on fire
