wish that when Kojima was specifically asked about this in April he would have said yes or no. maybe he can't because of contracts but that's shitty thing to do. give people information to make an informed purchase. don't trick people.
Y'all still falling for this? The game page does have that ''Only on PlayStation'' tag
But these tags are more confusing than enlightening a lot of times, there's plenty of examples of not being accurate for both sides
Yeah I remember an interview where he said that it's how it was going to happen when the game just got announced.
The tag is gone now?The game page does have that ''Only on PlayStation'' tag

Sony owns the Heavy Rain IP and assets. Quantic just kept the trademarkActually Heavy Rain isn't a Sony owned IP.
Planetside 2 was a SOE owned IP who then became Daybreak games.
Them also owning an IP doesn't restrict them on PC, but it's less likely to do so.
I hope Kojima gets the most out of his friendships until then, because that shit's over once those character models are easily accessible.
Yes, no more Only on PlayStation tag.
I remember it was like this.
1)Original release
2)NextGen updated version with added graphical features
3)PC release with the additions.
2 years later? I am not sure.
no, the studio is independent
They aren't forgetting, they're in denial.
I've been expecting a year of exclusivity since that was announced. Like NieR:Automata, only worse. People said the PC version of that was cancelled too.
If it doesn't come to PC eventually? It's their loss. I'm not buying a PlayStation.
so the ps5 system is not a playstation... ok....
Yea I hope if Sony ok'd the PC release, they making sure it's on Epic store only as a twist. Lol.
Facts.
Honestly I'm really tired of the secrecy surrounding platform exclusivity deals. This is the kind of thing that should be made clear to everyone. Third-party exclusives in general are just bleh.
I have no idea why Sony would let an IP it owns go to PC, but oh well.
Yea I hope if Sony ok'd the PC release, they making sure it's on Epic store only as a twist. Lol.
Awesome news! Is this the first time a game made in an engine designed for PS4/Sony console is released for PC?
yeah i don't see a tag either
Well because back in 2015 a lot of other publishers could have offered tons of money and support for Kojima to make a multiplatform game.
Sony having this monster hype of a game as a console exclusive and a launch exclusive remains a major advantage in the grand scheme of things.
I really wish companies were crystal clear on this type of thing.
Good it is coming to PC as initially announced (or teased)
That's a weak reason. IIRC Kingdom Hearts The Story So Far also lacks that "Only on playstation" label.
