The human legs stop at the "knees" iirc. The biggest thing I've taken from this stream and the last one is that the legs look weird. Definitely something I'll have to get use to.
Looks interesting for sure but I'm giving it a good month or two after release before I even think about touching it honestly. I don't want to have another destiny situation on my hands.
Yeah, they've already said you can buy or earn customizations for all things. So 20€ to get 3 extra skins. I'm liking this game less and less.
I guess that's part of the reason they avoided giving any info on how you acquire these customisation options outside of the LoD ones, better not reveal too much mtx at once.

So yes there will be MTX for customization but you can also earn it in-game.
It looks like it has transmog right out of the box; you could have look you want without worrying about the stats.
There's only 1 special edition and we know what it gets you.
Bast material in all of Thedas, it's only right.
where can i watch this? i missed the stream due to the freaking snow.
thank you!
Have they confirmed that there are Javelin parts and gears that change the default looks? Like a different helmet or gloves?

Yes, the entire point of preordering and getting the special edition is extra cosmetic armour pieces.
No, you need it to survive in several situations. Going underwater and flying wouldn't make sense for instance.
No, you can get helmets and shit as loot from enemies but they'll only be cosmetic. The stats changing gear is all internal i.e you would get "engine of the eclipse" vs "armor of the eclipse" and it would give you +2 to defense or whatever.Alright, I see. But I meant more in the lines of gear, loot that you can get from enemies, like a helmet from some giant robot or something, or even collecting materials to craft new Javelin pieces. A bit afraid when they say theres power and looks, and that it means loot you get from the game only changes stats.
Just watched the video.
Holy moly, that's a lot of customization options. Destiny is child's play compared to this.

Knowing the last BioWare releases - even the good ones like ME3 and DAI - the usual effect is similar to Destiny but worse in a sense. While Destiny runs out of substantial content, everything that's there from a coding and polish standpoint is superb. BioWare releases are buggy and usually get rushed out the door before they're properly finalized. I remember Mass Effect 3 had heads turning 360 degrees in cutscenes at launch and Inquisition had key scenes in which the dialogue wheel would not show up and cause the game to break unless you tapped the "skip" button super fast throughout the whole scene, it's just not up to snuff in that regard.
And first they had that livestream where graphics were accidentally turned down and they showed off emotes where they clap their fingers through their hands. The most recent livestream looked better but so did Inquisition's gameplay showcases prior to launch, and yet, there were so many issues in the details when it shipped, things that just irritate you as you go through it, and that was the Edmonton studio. Again, ME3 was no different IMO and also made by the same.
They might find a better formula than Destiny for live-service goodness but I'm really not looking forward to the way Anthem inevitably has head-shake-worthy bugs every couple of minutes. I really hope they surprise me but at the same time I feel like I know the studio's output so well at this point that I know exactly what it's going to be, and a lot of problems come from shoddy programming and things that are hardcoded rather than systematically well thought out.
Wouldn't be the first time a developer of a game debunks a rumor/leak and the person with insider info turns out to be right, really hope it isn't true but this is hardly reassuring.Yes! they took my favourite part of Inquisition with materials and fabrics, really awesome. I'm gonna make a power ranger especially with that emote.
Also seems Bioware debunked the rumor of Anthem being delayed

With the power of the options here, it's in your hands as to how cool they look.
Way better than Destiny imo where all 3 classes look so similar visually, low bar I guess, but the colossus is vastly different from the others.
