Checking again, I already have the Ironwood Bed DIY. Sorry. List has been updated.

But yes! If you time travel back a day, Redd will have a full new set of artwork. Then move forward a day to receive the artwork in the mail. Rinse, repeat. You can do this an infinite amount of times.

Well I saw a you tube video with the star trees in them and as I understand it people were actually paying for those. I'm curious how that will work out now the hack is removed. Will players ask their money/bells/NMT's back from other players? Enough food for a little uproar any way.

I get a nook ticket island primed up for palm tree spawns and all I get are regular goddamn stags aaaaaaaaaaaaaugh

I've had a fossil spot directly behind the residential building once, but otherwise yeah.

Yes. Villagers have a list of the 64 most recently gifted items. As long as the photo is on there, they can't gift you another, but as soon as they gave you 64+ items, you can receive another photo. I've gotten a second photo of 5 of my boys, trying to get the other 5 lol.

Well, if the villagers offer to buy an item from you, allows you to change their greeting, or give you the special reaction from their personality type, then they're at least a level 5 friend, and you have an opportunity to get a photo from them.

I think that's the only way to tell. I don't think their normal dialogue changes much.

Just FYI, but you'll only ever get your native fruit and what they call your "sister fruit" on Nook islands. You'll always have to trade for the other 4. Oh, and your "mom" should have sent you one of the different types as well.

You need to get to at least Level 5 with a villager (where you start having a 6% chance of receiving a photo, and that number can go up to 10% if you are closer friends with them), which is when they suggest changing their greeting. If they ask to buy an item or critter out of your inventory, they are at level 6. That's one of the most reliable ways of telling if your friendship is high enough.

It's 3 other fruit, you're counting coconut, heh.
Also, Mom can send the sister fruit too. So you might only get those 2.

Apparently your mom can send one of the 2 fruits also so its not a given of you getting a 3rd fruit then.

Luckily my mom was awesome enough to give me an orange (main: cherry, sister: pear).

What the hell? Had to install an update and all it seems to have done is ruin my sumo flooring.

On the plus side Isabel finally announced a meteor shower for the first time despite playing from launch. Also got my first villager photo. It's been a big week!

Amelia asked about leaving yesterday and is packing today, when will villagers show up on mystery islands? Tomorrow? Also, is it true that if I don't replace her within a day or two, then someone random moves in automatically?

Yes, tomorrow - The day the lot is empty.

IDK if it's one day or two but yes, a random villager will move in automatically.

Did you already get what you need? I have all the fruits except cherries and would happily trade some of the other fruit or bamboo shoots for cherries. I too was under the mistaken assumption that with enough nook island visits i'd eventually get the cherries but not so much it seems.

Ugh, gold hunting is the worst. Last time i got a piece of gold, i had to hit 32 rocks for it. Now im up to 25 rocks and no gold in sight.

Random odd request, does anyone happen to have a yellow Upright Locker and/or a white Safe? I'm trying to do some outdoor decoratiing with the upright lockers and safes facing away from the camera, which makes them look like plinths.

This is odd. Yesterday my daughter invited Marina from a mystery island. But today Isabelle doesn't mention her and when I went over to de vacant plot it says that we have Patty moving in?! Anyone experience this before? She is the player two on our island but she has invited new villagers from mystery islands before so I don't know what happened here.
