Good riddance, Uncle Creeper.

Meantime, I'll repeat how glad I am that ERA isn't representing me in DC. The hot takes here, for shits sake...

There's a massive difference between
a) knowing about an issue which can be fixed, but for whatever reason deciding to not fix it.
b) not being aware of an issue which can be fixed, and therefore not able to fix it.

The first one is dramatically worse than the second because it shows there's a decision made to not correct a problem. To fix the first issue, one has to believe that the candidate has changed their pattern of behavior. To fix the second issue, one has to believe that the candidate has fixed a systemic issue.

It's harder to believe someone has changed their pattern of behavior(see Biden's groping, or Tulsi Gabbard's anti LGBT past.)

Agreed.

I'd like to think Biden's been dealt a death-blow here, but let's be real. 2 years ago we elected a dude that bragged about grabbing a woman by the crotch. If Biden decides not to run, I doubt it'll be because of this.
the democratic primary base is not the one that elected donald trump. biden could very well still win the nomination, but "republicans and racist 'independents' voted for donald trump" isn't the strongest argument imo. democrats have been pretty decent at policing their own (even if the pressure doesn't always work :cough: virginia). hopefully we get it right here.

I've always thought those photos looked creepy as fuck.

Reminds me of my grandmas friends when I was a kid always grabbing every kid in sight so they could give them a kiss on the cheek.

Interesting the author of the story puts this out now....wondering if it's to "ruin" an inevitable announcement of Biden running.

The author is the accuser. Her words, straight from the article:
For years I feared my experience would be dismissed. Biden will be Biden. Boys will be boys. I worried about the doubts, the threats, the insults, and the minimization. "It's not that big of a deal. He touched her, so what?" The immediate passing of judgement and the questioning of motives. "Why now? Why so long after? She just wants attention." Or: "It's politically motivated." I would be lying if I said I didn't carefully consider all of this before deciding to speak. But hearing Biden's potential candidacy for president discussed without much talk about his troubling past as it relates to women became too much to keep bottled up any longer.

How about you read the article instead of victim blaming.

And sure enough, her fears were realized, just by reading the many shit responses in this thread.

Good. Let's get this shit out now so he reconsiders running altogether. Once he gets in the race officially, it'll be much harder to get him out. He's incredibly beloved in key voting states and you can already see people hear justifying his run.

Creepy Biden memes have been all over the internet for years now. Surprised it's taken this long for more to take notice. But having one or more of the women impacted step forward is definitely a great way to do that. I don't know that any ever brought up their feelings about it in the past... probably because a lot of them were minors and don't really have the maturity and platform to air out their feelings.

A part of me really wonders if Milia and Sasha Obama have any stories like this... he's probably had an enormous amount of time around them over the years.

I don't want to right out assume he's a predator, even if his behavior in the clips is very suspect and the people look visibly uncomfortable in a lot of them... but I view this a lot like I do the Michael Jackson thing... when you're a very powerful man, you probably feel like you can just let it all out in public and nobody will be the wiser. It can all be explained away as innocent behavior, right?

The most depressing part is people sacrificing their accounts for...Biden.

Corrupt Delaware Biden, pals with segregationists Biden, have the SC seat Mrs. Alito and Thomas Biden.

THIS IS WHO YOU ARE DYING FOR

He's always been a fucking creeper and a half and I've seen enough people on this site covering for him that it doesn't faze me anymore.

If you defended this guy out of party loyalty at any point, fuck off at the speed of light.

as a non-american it's actually pretty fucking weird how creepy "uncle joe" biden got normalized and memefied during his tenure as vice president.

I was literally just talking about this the other day when one of my friends asked me why I didn't want Biden to run. Too many photos and videos where he's giving off this sex predator vibe for my liking. There were other reasons but this was a big one I didn't want him anywhere near this election. Unbelievably gross behavior.

Hope this gains traction as it seems people just have somehow missed all this behavior from him.

This was only a matter of time before some oppo started bringing this up and, frankly, it needed to happen. Biden is a problem and the Democrats need to put their faith behind someone better.

Well fuck that and fuck him

Trump isn't going to full-on attack any Dem candidate until the nominee is chosen. Whichever nominee the Dem party chooses, make sure they have as little dirt on them as possible. That young Indiana mayor seems like a good choice

Wow. I remember some creepy shit from him but some of these gifs. At least Trump hid his pussy grabbing behind doors.

This will never not make my skin crawl. The audacity of even considering a campaign run in the face of inevitable and well-deserved attack ads featuring just this gif on a loop is truly something to behold.

So... Joe Biden is the only person that can beat Trump? That is a strong slam on the Dem party in general.

I'd say he's our best bet. He has goodwill from the Obama era, is extremely well known, won't be easy for the republicans to convince voters that he's 'dangerously liberal'

I personally don't want him but we need someone viable who can beat Trump.

Or maybe

Just maybe

Now hear me out

MAYBE

Someone besides an old white dude

Just maybe

You say at like that's all we nominate. Outside of I guess John Kerry, we haven't nominated 'an old white dude' for president since Harry Truman in 1944. (I'm defining old as 60 or above)

I had forgotten that he had done this until this week. Totally uncalled for and inappropriate and if he's doing this stuff in front of cameras who knows what else has happened. Another powerful person taking advantage and hiding behind their title.

Beto and Pete are rollicking ahead in the polls and quickly moving up towards Biden and Bernie. Time for a new generation to take over. A ticket between Beto and Pete, or Kamala would be a great, great ticket for dems.

Biden can win against trump, but his age (I severely, severely don't see him running for 2 terms) is a factor and I think he had too many skeletons in his closest for the dem base to fill get behind him.

and wrote about how women want to be raped is your Me Too savior?
Who says I hate him?

I just don't think he'd win against Agent Orange that's all.

I'd only give AOC a chance in hell on selling socialism to the masses right now.

I know polling is kinda shit, but the polls during 2016 showed him absolutely demolishing Trump.

I don't see why that would change, other than people making stupid / ill-informed comments about him on the internet polluting the common mindshare.

Anyway, I'm a Buttgieg guy these days anyway [and Warren, and Sanders, all three would be dream presidents].
