5900X is +$50 yeah. If it's the fastest gaming CPU at release, then yeah, that won't stop enthusiasts.
I upgraded from a Xeon X5650 to a Ryzen 3600.
Looks like the rumours of Big Navi being a 3070 competitor are accurate, they seem to be well behind the 3080 on AMD's cherry picked benches.
Yeah but there's no 5700x so if you want an 8 core CPU then it's a big price hike until the 5700x eventually releases.
So i have a 4790k and was planning on getting a 5700X but honestly $449 seems really high. Should i just go get a 3800x / 3700x? I have a 2080 super and play in 1440p
Price gauging through the roof.
They are just taking everything from Intel.
Yeah that's what I was wondering - Zen 2 released with more SKUs, right? I'll need that 5700X please.Yeah but there's no 5700x so if you want an 8 core CPU then it's a big price hike until the 5700x eventually releases.
Crazy how much people forget a Pandemic is going on and how it affects production among other things. Could see the price increase coming a mile away and even less so surprised about it.I guess the prices are a testament to the global economic situation during a pandemic.
Performance gains - YAY
Price gains - NAY
My reaction in a nutshell.
If you get performance between the 3070 and 3080 for the price of a 3070 I'd consider that a winner. What about the other two games they showed in the chart quickly?
No bass variants at launch makes it an effective $100 increase
About 200-250% uplift if compared to early i7
probably will wait for a price drop later. a bit steep for 6 cores, although the performance increase is great, it's just quite a steep entry level price.
I expect the 5600x to be able to beat it in that respect. So Intel Core i5-10600K is probably still the best gaming performance per dollar CPU?
you and me both, cant wait
Compared to Intel, the 3900X was something like ~8% behind the 9900K.
"Take a look at that performance"
