Indeed, we still don't even know what the status of her bloodwork from that night was. Expect to not see it till the trial.
It is a good sign. I still expect some fuckery along the way, but this is at least a start.
Probably exhausted all options trying to protect her but figured her bullshit story wouldn't hold up in court so they're cutting their loses.
That's what I'm thinking. I mean shit, there HAS to be charges against her or something that I missed right? The department is smart to cut their ties first BEFORE the trial starts.

Does the fact that she's been fired mean that she's pretty much not under that "blue wall of silence" anymore? If so, she's fucked, and hopefully this means she's going to be locked up for many, many years.

Every state has their own weirdness but I believe that someone said in the original thread that Texas doesn't have a real distinction between the two (murder/manslaughter) when it comes to the initial charges.
