Now we're talking. I'd rather have a Game and Watch 4D experience though, personally.
THat does not make sense. Until the economy improves? Restarting construction will help the economy....Am I missing something?Yes. Until the economy improves they say. Work behind the scenes is still happening of course, I can attest to that. So at least they'll be more time ironing out the final details.
Universal has been losing millions of dollars each day with the theme parks being closed. They still have multiple other construction projects ongoing such as Nintendoland at USJ. They are focusing on that and will resume construction for the new park once things begin to return to normal and they have a good cash flow again.THat does not make sense. It most definitely is. The entrance facade is straight-up DKCR-style temple ruins.Beautiful.
The Future expansion plot could be Donkey Kong Land.
For pikmin
I genuinely don't think this park gets built for another ten years at least, if at all. And when it does it will be scaled back significantly and opened piece-meal.To provide context on how limited Universal Japan is, it's no more than 133 acres. So if you think the park area is smaller than you'd think, that is why. Let's look at the plans for the 750 acre Epic Universe Park for Orlando.
You see that little bastard on the left? That's gonna be your flagship Nintendo World. If you wanted to say "wow that's big" in an Internet forum, wait another three years

It is kinda wack that Nintendo is the star of this new theme park and yet they gave it the smallest plot of land. lol
Assuming that they used the same plans from Japan for Orlando, instead of making it larger to make use of the extra land.

Thats tiny
i wonder what the size comparison is to other tiny Lands
For Japan it's not that simple. They have only a certain amount of land to make use out of by the city. For Orlando, that space of trees above will have plenty of room for any future expansions.
This is absurd. They already been working on it for years now (clearing land and such) it's definitely comingI genuinely don't think this park gets built for another ten years at least, if at all. And when it does it will be scaled back significantly and opened piece-meal.
We're entering a depression that will impact travel/tourism probably more than anything else. Wiped out more than a decade's worth of job growth that will take more than a decade to get back im sure. They have to be weighing the cost of running and maintaining a theme park during a depression versus the cost of waiting several more years and maintaining an empty plot of flat land before getting it going. If they had gone vertical on any of it I would be more optimistic, but as far as i know all theyve done is clear the land. This is absurd. Coming later. So this is only Super Mario-themed, right? No Zelda, no Pokemon...? :(
Universal Japan is in OsakaYeah but Tokyo was always planned to be first since they wanted it ready for the olympics
