- The GBros. wireless adapter includes the home and screenshot buttons which are missing on the Gamecube controller.
- It has three ports: the two proprietary Nintendo ports on the sides (one for Gamecube, the other for Wii/Classic Edition controllers), and a micro USB 2.0 on the front.
- It works on Android, Windows and Mac OS also.
8BitDo confirmed to Ars that only one controller works with this adapter at a time. Meaning, you cannot connect both a classic GC controller and a Wii-connector controller and expect both to work on your Switch at the same time.
I was hoping that'd be a secret double-controller perk, but alas. Still a slick-looking and reasonably priced gizmo; what is lag like for other 8BitDo Switch adapters? I imagine that'd inform what to expect from this one.
If it works without too much input lag, it could be a good way to use your Gamecube/Wii/SNES/NES controller in handheld mode.
You can pre-order the GBros. on Amazon (it will be released on December 7, 2018)
