What, you don't buy the story that a seven year old was so moved by the State of the Union address that he decided all on his own to raise money for the wall???
Agreed. Of all the things you could have taught your kid it was that your life is in danger because of brown people. I just can't wrap my head around this type of people. Feed the hungry or something...improve someone's life in some meaningful way...UGH
The parents have said they're "well-connected" and could get the money where it needs to go. (Which itself is a joke. This entire thing is about the optics, getting themselves coverage on Fox News and the right-wing blogs)There's no real mechanism for private money to fund this wall, right?

First thought. Gee I wonder though
He is actually learning something about the larger world and that should tell you something about how poorly our media is functioning.Kids will take whatever dogma they grow up in, if it is forced down their throats.
I'm kind of sad for this kid, only 7... He should be out there playing and learning about the world.
True. Kid is probably gonna enter a world of emotional hurt very quickly.Man, what terrible parents. Still, if I were running a news station, I don't think I'd bother reporting on this. Can only bring more trouble to the 7 year old. Parents making their kid stan for their political beliefs isn't exactly new or newsworthy, imo.
There was a couple of kids at a restaurant I went to a few weeks ago with MAGA hats.
Some of these alt-right fuckwads gets started real early in life, especially if the parents are supporters. I guess it "helps" that Trump himself is a literal manchild so he appeals to children.
I went to a bunch of museums in DC a few weeks ago and I have never seen so many kids wearing MAGA hats in my life. At the holocaust museum alone it was like 10 kids wearing them (not together). It's insane.
The fundraising may be his idea, but ya, his parents have probably constantly been telling him how amazing Trump is and how the wall is going to make America great. He's not exactly at the age to have an informed opinion on things, like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
$2 for some lukewarm Swiss Miss hot chocolate? That's probably made with water instead of milk? Art of the fucking deal, twerp.
Mixing water with hot chocolate is the true crime here. The MAGA embracing parents are a tertiary problem to the greater water in hot chocolate problem.$2 for some lukewarm Swiss Miss hot chocolate? That's probably made with water instead of milk? Art of the fucking deal, twerp.
Reminds me of a couple kids I knew when I was little. We were 3rd or 4th graders, and they were trying to get me to boycott Heinz Ketchup for being "pro-abortion". Nevermind that the three of us had no idea what an abortion actually was. There was a couple of kids at a restaurant I went to a few weeks ago with MAGA hats.
