I remember being so happy seeing bombette acknowledged as one of the leading Nintendo ladies. It would be cool if they did this again with some other characters.
Peach usually gets kidnapped and Nintendo hardly utilized Daisy in mainline games.
Uh, that's weird. Not only it has a huge "who ?" energy, but even when going for a PM character, why go toward the boring "Bob Omb but Pink with a heart because she's a girl !" and not going toward the insanely bad ass Lady Bow ?

November 2012 in Japan, first half of 2013 in the west. They probably only went for women who fights and goes on adventure. Isabelle could now be part of this tho, thanks to Smash ! But she's a hardworking secretary, she should be here.

I wanna say this happened pretty shortly after Paper Mario hit the Wii U Virtual Console. As much as I want to believe Bombette was put in because someone at Nintendo genuinely remembered her, I figure it was marketing.

That would require anyone at Nintendo but Sakurai to give a shit about Kid Icarus, unfortunately.
Interestingly enough, Female Officer Howard is listed first among the Astral Chain spirits. So if they get in the next Smash game, she'd likely be the default.
