Not in a thread about them dead or dying, no.
Why exactly do you think we shouldn't discuss a person's action in a thread about them being dead or dying?
What about is someone commits and gets cancer, would we be allowed to discuss their actions or is that off-limits as well?

So stoop to Trump supporters level, gotcha.
Explain how discussing what a person has done makes people the same as Trump supporters?

He was paralyzed? I had no idea.
I didn't know either

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Krauthammer
While in his first year studying at Harvard Medical School, Krauthammer became permanently paralyzed from the neck down after a diving board accident that severed his spinal cord at C5.[2] After spending 14 months recovering in a hospital, he returned to medical school, graduating to become a psychiatrist involved in the creation of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders III.[3][

At least he's not suffering anymore. Late term cancer can be extremely painful.

Cancer sucks, Krauthammer sucked. But that doesn't mean I'd want him to die of cancer.

I just wished he wasn't such an awful person peddling bullshit on FOX News.

My he rest in peace, or at least until judgement comes and shows him the error of his ways if it were to happen.

He had a tough life. Paralyzed, lost a child and this battle with cancer.

And yet he supports policies that will deny healthcare to many Americans and their children.

I won't do backflips when he dies, but good lord can we stop sympathizing with scummy people because they're dying? Something that would effect everyone eventually?

So even though he was critical of Trump, he didn't even write some scathing condemnation of Trump urging his fellow conservatives/Republicans to oppose him at every turn, on his way out? Not that it would have made up for the decades of awful stuff he's pushed, but it would have been something.

Terrible. I probably would rather eat my gun than have those last few days/weeks in agony.

Yes, how selfish of him to not spend his last moments in agony fighting for some sense of absolution from xbhaskarx and his ilk

Bad mouthing someone who is dying is hateful, regardless of what they've done. It makes you no better than the person you target with your comments. If you believe the person is not at your self determined moral level, then you are lowering yourself to where you believe them to be by making such comments. Make the first step in being a better person yourself, and do not do this!

You heard it hear folks: Badmouthing one dying person is equally as bad as supporting policies that would make much more people die. So says Keyser S, with his god complex by assuming that all sin is equal in his eyes.

If duarte was dying and I badmouth him, I'm just as bad as him and makes me no better than him? That's some morale ant hill you're standing on there.

Yep. People who act like vile people in life, deserve to be remembered by their shit stain of a legacy that they leave behind. I'm done with folks romanticizing awful people and acting like all the bad stuff doesn't matter anymore. As I'm sure their mark on the world is still felt.

This is a grand false equivalency.

I just watched a documentary where a priest raped 100+ kids and someone wished him death. I guess he was as bad as the priest?

The fact of the matter is, there's not a poster here that spat racist propaganda for years to millions of people (unless Tucker Carlson has an account here). I'm not going to celebrate Kraut's death but let's not pretend he was a great guy.

What are the point of thread like this if all we allowed to say is "rip" or "cancer sucks"? They sure no purpose on a discussion fourm.

Well if I'm already "no better" than OSAMA BIN LADEN, what do I have to lose?

I'M A LIBERAL. I'M ALREADY A DEMON.

The last part wasn't in reference to your post but okay *shrug*

The lady doth protest too much, methinks. There's some weird ass astroturfing levels of concern trolling going on in this thread...

Yeah I'm not sure either. Respect for the dead is always an odd thing to me. I'm not gonna wave away someone being an awful person for the entirety of their life just because they're no longer alive. The effects of their actions and legacy are what remain, and in the case of Krauthammer it's not a good one.

Thoughts and prayers. Should have used his last days to atone.

Yeah. It's why the camera typically wouldn't zoom out when he was being interviewed and why his interviews were filmed outside the newsroom.

I dunno, yeah, the guy had a very rough life, but it doesn't his excuse his sins of trying to legitimize people like Trump. The man had so much talent, and he wasted some of it on that. Makes it even more sad. Maybe I'm a bit outta line.

This... is just not true. It might make you vindictive, sure, but depending on the person and their actions it's simply false.

There is clearly a huge difference between puditis and terrorism of any kind, and someone who has a direct link to atrocities.

Is it not within reason for someone not be an asshole to someone they think is an asshole? This not a "middle in a good place to be," thing. Fuck that shit. All the time.

I just believe it is better not to lower yourself to the level of a person you hate by choosing to badmouth them when they are dead/dying.

If Trump dies of some malignant disease people are going to fucking implode between their need to maintain a modicum of civility and the fact that Donald Trump is dead.

What a disgusting post. Glad to see that you're not an empathetic human being at all.
There are much more aggressive posts in this very thread about someone who dedicated their life to spreading suffering.

If you decide your time on Earth is best spent making others' more miserable, I won't cheer your death on, I won't piss on your grave, but I absolutely have the right to feel nothing about it.
