I'm down for playing as Nero again mainly as I enjoyed playing him in DMC4 recently. Plus Sexy Granpa Dante is welcome in my book.
Can't believe people still hate Nero after all these years. He was fucking awesome to play as in DMC4 and complimented Dante well. Red Queen is the best fucking weapon in the whole series.
The only issue that I hope they address is the depth of Nero's mechanics and move set. They had a really legitimate thing going with the rev engine enhancing your combos and attacks at various levels. I want them to go nuts with even further and give us additional weapons.
I really liked the song too. The press release said it's now up on Spotify, etc. but I cannot find it. "Devil Trigger" by Ali Edwards.

First thought: they copied the design from the Scalebound protagonist who was copied from DMC :D

The immediate announcement of Ninja Theory purchased by MS immediately shot down hopes of DmC2. But as soon as you saw the Capcom logo and the overall mood shift of DMC5 your first thought is 'oh no this is DmC2' .Even down to the VERY DmC-like redesign of Nero.
Then you actually hear Yuri's voice, see Red Queen etc etc and realize itsuno played cynical motherfuckers like me like a fucking fiddle.

Who you guys think i'm talking about? The right character is Vergil. The lightning makes appear the robe is black.
Are we all really that disappointed that Nero's the main character again? I thought we got over that when 4 came out and it turned out he had his own unique but equally fun playstyle compared to Dante's.

Seeing the key art with Nero in the middle makes me so damn happy. My dream was that he'd be the lead again, but I thought Capcom would cave into fan demand and just give us Dante only. Thank goodness Capcom do whatever they want.
I can't wait to see more gameplay. Nero's charge shot better still work the same way it did in DMC4. That thing was so fun.
