I was wondering if they might be asked to bring the Dishonoured games to Switch after Doom and Wolfenstein 2. Also the first Wolfenstein should be brought over to compliment the release of 2
Dishonored 1 is Unreal Engine 3. That's not happening. The sequels are a heavily modified idTech 6 again so not sure how compatible that is with their work on normal idTech6. Wolf 1 and its expansion are old idTech 5. Also not happening.

I don't think any of those are happening if Doom, Skyrim and Wolf II don't have a very high return on investment. However, if the sales of Bethesda's NSW games are really good, it might open up some possibilities:

1) With Rocket League and Outlast 1+2, we already got some UE3 games on the Switch. So I think it is possible to port DH1 if Bethesda really wants to/sees the potential? I don't know if its age and being UE3 makes it the most likely of those games or the opposite.
2) Bethesda might launch something one may call the "id tech 5 to NSW initiative". They got Rage, the two Wolf 1 games and TEW 1. A specialized (in-house?) porting team might make this a worthwhile investment for them.
3) I see some conflicting info about the Void engine being a modified idTech 5 or idTech 6 engine. Maybe the same specialized team would be able to port the two DH2 games.
4) TEW 2 seems to be using an "offshoot" of idTech 5, which may makes it a more complicated matter. (fake edit: If we see TEW 2 for NSW and it was worth it for Bethesda, I think it increases the possibility for the all other idTech 5 games being ported.)

Oh Outlast is UE3? Huh. Random aside: this gamefaqs thread is hilarious in light of those games coming out

I would love to have all of those games on Switch but even if Bethesda is happy with Skyrim and DOOM so far, I don't see them going all-in with their older titles. But god damn would I be happy to have the complete The Evil Within, Dishonored, Prey, and Wolfenstein series on Switch. Especially Arkane's output would fit so perfectly with the Metroid Prime audience hungry for these types of games.

Didn't they say DOOM done well enough for them? I thought something was said about the performance being positive? I too would love Dishonoured 1& 2 and Wolf 1 on Switch

Bethesda aside, what other pubs do Panic Button have a history of working with?

Bethesda doesn't really comment on sales performance (Switch or otherwise), so no we haven't heard any official statement about DOOM or Skyrim's performance.

Panic Button worked with Psyonix for Rocket League.

All I find with google is Bethesda being happy that people are "impressed by DOOM on Switch" from last December.

It's a pretty sure bet Fallout 4 will come to the Switch but after that who knows. I can't see any of their future games actually coming to the Switch.

That was basically the one time they've ever had an accurate leak like that. The exception, not the rule.

4chan rumors are fake 99.99% of the time, don't put stock into any of them.

Pretty sure Smash had it's entire roster leaked from 4chan, Bloodbourne was also leaked from there, Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon details, etc. Not completely without some merit.

I think both games are doing great by anecdotal evidence. Doom wasnt a huge hit on other consoles either but judging by Skyrims long legs (constanlty charting in top 10 Switch charts) I think its doing really well for what it is. I also saw some NPD insiders comment about both doing great in the US in the NPD threads.

The infamous monster Hunter World leak had a bunch right too like XX for 3ds, and the final platforms for world, and open world being a major design decision for world.

For some reason I'm still holding out hope that there's a stealth Switch port of Wolfenstein: The New Order, and it will launch with Colossus.

And that DOOM 2 for Switch will come out day and date with the other platforms.

it does seem silly that they would bring Wolfenstein 2 but not the first one. Seeing as the first has never been on a Nintendo system, you'll be missing a big chunk of the story.

I think the thing with 4chan is that it is more likely to attract leakers than a site like this for the same reason it is much much more likely to attract fake leakers than a site like this, that is, the anonymity.

So no, don't trust them (the latter thing) but don't be like "omg how could a 4chan leak come true" either, imo.

I don't think they're particularly worth looking at until after they pan out when they do, instead of as a potential source of information.

Some important rumors are missing, mainly the rumors that come from the Youtube channel "obe1plays". A source told him many rumors, and most of them seem to be true so far. I have not fully watched the videos, so it may be that extra information is missing.

Thanks.

Started only one video, too annoying, so I closed the window. Before doing so, in one of the vids the dude said his source was LauraKDale, which is already linked as the original source in the OP for some of the stuff you have mentioned.
I'll go just by your video description, cross-reference his video dates and add anything that wasn't leaked or announced before his videos.

He actually did have solid info now that I'm going through the list.

The mention of a Switch-port of Final Fantasy XV on GameStop TV can of course be a mistake, but there are so many rumors and hints about this game that we can assume that this game actually comes to the Switch.

Tabata has explicitly stated several times that he is very interested in the Nintendo Switch. He calls the device "a dream machine". In February 2017, he said that the game would not work on the Switch, but during the Gamescom of 2017 he hinted at a Switch port. The game still did not run well via the Luminous Engine that was not yet optimized for the Switch. The team is talking to Epic Games to know what they can do with the planned port. They are even willing to cooperate with them. Twitter MysticDistance says that a port of FFXV is in the making (and an announcement this year). Then there is also Vandal_Leaks (now named LeakyPandy on Twitter) who said in a personal message to me that more information about the Switch version of FFXV is coming soon. I can post an image of this conversation on request.

I am just very interested in this game. Due to the possibility of a Switch port, I am waiting for the purchase of the Windows Edition. I think this game is about as likely as a GTAV port.

GameStop has no stores in my country, so I know very little about it. Does it happen (often) that there are such typos in Gamestops advertising movies? Has the store chain ever leaked a few games in advance?

Can someone give me information about this?

There is some random person sitting at the editing computer doing these title cards, probably copy/pasting names and info all over the place.

Actually, I can't even imagine a port of GTA V in Switch. If just the FF have problems to run, imagine GTA.

GTA V ran on Xbox 360/PS3 and there were no problems. A Switch port won't be a problem either. The question is just if Rockstar or Take 2 want to release the game on the console.

This don't make them capable to run it. The can introduce it, but never see an open world game running ok in Switch. Even BoTW have problems sometimes.

FFXV not running on Switch has more to do with it's engine than anything.

It's almost a miracle that the Square Enix Japan branch is still alive in the business, giving how convoluted their developments are :)

With almost every big release in the last years, they have fallen in a development hell cycle, a lot of times spending years of work in nonsensical engines.

Even more, they keep investing money in redoing art assets in horrible and ugly ways with their classical releases, without knowing that CRT shaders are a thing with contemporary GPUs.

It's a point.

But don't think this have so much more occlusions and effects than GTA. Even in my PC doesn't runs very well. (it's not a powerful one, but runs, hahaha)
Skyrim/GTA (i'm not sure which one you're referring to) is incredibly scalable. like, you can run those games on intergrated graphics scalable. I can't fathom the kind of PC you have that can't run those games

The Switch is stronger than last gen hardware in essentially every way (outside of some programmers managing to utilize Cell well) so it can run GTAV. It's really not even a question.

Fact is that Switch is more capabile than PS3/360, there is reason why evre last gen port runs at higher resolution, with better visuals and in most cases with better frame rate better than same games on PS3/360.
Zelda BotW runs at almost locked 30 FPS on Switch and that couldnt be said for plenty of PS3/360 games, also Skyrim on Switch runs at higher resolution, with better visuals and way more stable frame rate than it is on PS3/360.
Saying that Switch couldnt run GTAV when 360/PS3 are runing same game, is ignoring clear facts.

Agreed, either people forget GTAV was originally a PS3/360 game or people think the PS3/360 are way more powerful than they really were.
Of course GTAV can run on Switch. Shocked it is still a topic folks discuss.
Both Skyrim and LA Noire run really well on the Switch.
It's hilarious (sarcasm) that we still need to argue about this power nonsense. It was already beyond stupid with the Wii U.

These newer devices are never, ever entirely about power and power alone. The Switch is able to do a lot of things that the Wii U or PS360 can't because it also support new technology, new rendering pipeline and thus new engines. These feature sets are as important, if not more important than sheer teraflops. You can duct tape 10 Xbox 360s together but it still won't run Gears 4 or Forza Horizon 3 because it doesn't support anything those new games require.
