I am slowly, agonizingly working my way through that Chris Chan documentary. I can only make it through about 8 minutes at a time before I have to do something else for awhile. It's fascinating, but if I try and go any faster I'm going to cringe so hard that I'll pull something.
It's a very long story but to try and make it super brief: she's an autistic trans woman who was trolled for years by various groups, including 4chan and the like, and did herself no favors the entire time. It's kind of hard to get into the nuances of the "saga" without a lot of details. I was vaguely familiar from when I was browsing Encyclopedia Dramatica back in my college days but it seems to have gone on way past the point where I knew about it.
Jesus. Head Donuts are the most horrifying. And Number 10 should have been in the Number 1 spot of the Plastic Surgery video (Seriously the woman obliterated her face) and the Reptile & Cat Men shouldn't have even been on the list because I think they got the ideal version of what they wanted rather than a fucking disaster like every other entry.
I cringe at the thought of these people actually getting into a fight. Other than that, I'm mostly laughing.
