Just keep at it and dont rush it. If you also feel like you didnt get the hang of it after you finished it, do it again several times.
Well, the problem is that I feel I'm not capable of reacting fast enough to the attack Tutorial Tien is throwing at me.
It'll go over it, but typically you want to hold down back to block, and change it to just back to react to "overheads", basically moves that hit above.
Generally all my matches have like 3-4 Dragon Balls naturally, but yeah, I've only really summoned the dragon once in an online match and that's because my opponent gathered the balls for me (I was winning, had more meter, but he did a lot of auto combos).
If you go for it, it's extremely telegraphed (7 balls, 7 meters, and you have to land a light auto combo). If you get hit by it, you deserve it.
I think it'll be rare enough at high level that it'll actually be hype for comebacks, and it'll feel deserved since the rewards aren't anything extremely crazy.
It's far more likely that they'll gather them in a scrub match than in high level play. It's not the only method but you get one ball per complete autocombo so newcomers will see Shenron often when fighting people of a similar level,haha.
That's actually quite a good idea. Competitive matches don't have to worry about the random factor and scrub matches can have a fitting mechanic for the series that adds some fun randomness.
If it ever happens at a major people will go nuts. I can't wait.
When someone one and dones you, and you look at their profile while waiting for your next match and see the other most recent game they played was xenoverse...
I think I'll give Majin Buu a whirl tomorrow. I love using underused characters who have potential of being pretty good, and I think his stand resets are really good. Hopefully I have the execution for it though lol.
I finally finished Story Mode and started playing a couple of ranked games. I'm not really good but I've been paired up with players that were less good and got 5 wins in 5 games, and my first rage quit in the 6th game... So it doesn't count as a Win or even a game played if the other player disconnects?

Nope. There's no consequence for rage quitting at the moment outside of a purple name. It's pretty awful.
I fought a Supreme Kai today and they proceeded to anhiliate my hopes and dreams. I felt completely outclassed, and this is happening more and more as I attempt to escape the super saiyan level, time to hit the lab.
Looks like ASW took a page from Capcom in "regular human guy" voice lines.
I have my favorites for sure but just about everyone is so fun in this game. That almost makes me want to invest in the character pass even if I am not looking forward to any of the supposedly leaked characters.

I feel like most people who are my skill level on PC have quit playing online. I get nothing but people who seem to have been playing this game for months. It's very frustrating. Game went from 44,000 concurrent to 7000 pretty quick. Doesn't like very many casuals stuck around to play online. It's a huge bummer.
Get at least 300k Zenny for Vegeta (total earned, you don't have to save it all at once), 500k for Goku. Or beat the two hardest Arcade Mode courses with at least an A rank: Extreme Gravity Spaceship Course (Hard) and Hyperbolic Time Chamber (Hard). You have to clear the normal versions to unlock the hard versions.
Nice, those characters seemed pretty interesting as well. I checked out rankings board and didn't even see anyone running 3 out of these 4 in a team. Maybe a bad team but i find it fun to try and make things work :)
I just can't get over how silly Vegeta sounds when's caught in an aerial combo.

Strongly considering converting to the dark side and replacing Gotenks with Goku Black.
I love the little guy and have fun playing as him but I sorely need some kind of attack or burst assist for Android 21. Gotenks' assist is great for pressure and lockdown but I could use a combo extender and I'm not planning on replacing 18 any time soon.

Love Vegeta Blue's "oh ah ow e ah e" so much. It's like he's going down a hallway and stepping on Trunks' lego blocks.
And then the "YAAAAAAAAAAA" into an immediate but identical "YAAAAAAAAAAAAA" when doing his super. Fighting game voice work is a thing of beauty.
Ok I have been enjoying the shit out of Android 16, but I can't part with Hit or SSB Vegeta.
Sad thing is I got a swell 6k damage combo with Hit (2 bars) but it requires a beam assist which both 16 and Vegeta don't have. So need to fit Goku Black back in again.
Also was pleasantly surprised I could counter Hit's lvl 3 with my own Hit's lvl 1.

I can't figure out when to use assists at all. I get rushed down every time I try to use them to zone. I've swapped out SSJ Vegeta with SSGSS Goku and am doing much better but it feels like a crutch for not utilizing that really good Vegeta zoning assist to help my Ginyu.
Whats up with Vsync at the moment? Just bought the game and every diplay mode it is disabled. Trying to play it fullscreen but the tearing is shitty.

Finally found my team of Ginyu/Piccolo/Nappa. Still pretty bad with Ginyu though. Which doesn't mean I'm goot at Piccolo or Nappa lol
Playing on PC I somehow never had any problems with online or the lobbies. Perfectly smooth from the start. Though I get that some people have problems. Hopefully they fix it ASAP. As well as the 18 desync and Goku Blacks ridiculous hitboxes.
