I thought the Noctis reveal trailer had him in Altissia?

Now I'm sad. Really hope FFXV gets its own stage before too long. Insomnia, Altissia, or maybe even Gralea would be great.

I'm still on the fence about this game. I am interested in it.

I'm guessing the story mode is a rather light affair and isn't as in depth as the PSP Dissidia titles?

I generally put a lot of time into a single player content in fighting games, stuff like Injustice 2 and upcoming 3 Story perspectives in DBFZ.

For those that imported the digital release of Dissidia NT, how substantial is the single player content for the game?

I should get my JPN copy on Friday. Having extensively played the arcade version - the core gameplay is as good as ever. If the port is even half as good as the arcade version, then it will still be better than either of the PSP titles.

I'm having way more fun with this version than the arcade, probably because I don't have to pay 200 yen for every 2 minute match.
One thing I'm really happy about is the netcode, out of a ton matches yesterday, maybe one had a bit of lag.

Really, really enjoy Rush Battle. Did mess around with the settings in the custom room mode, can set up 1v1 or 2v2 but you can't limit the slots themselves. Have to basically work it out with the people in the room. Can also do coop of sorts if you have it set to auto fill slots but its only the bronze AI. Wondering if there is a way to set AI difficulty in there, like you can in free battle.

Yeah the netcode has been really solid.

Sometimes matches take awhile to get started, but the actually matches have been smooth.

I only played with my Duodecim mains in the last JP Beta, Lightning and Kuja.

Hope the game do well, but I'll miss the huge single player content (I really liked the story) and the RPG elements from the PSP games, these games are incredible for the fans.

I love the fact that Square do new things and I'm optimistic with Dissidia NT, but I hope they don't turn Dissidia series in a cash grab.

Can you add bots to the online matches? For instance, in a 2v2 match = 3 humans + 1 bot.

In Custom Room, you can have COMs auto fill whatever slots needed. But the problem is, you can't manually add them as they just auto fill slots so it basically will be 2 humans and 1 AI versus 1 human and 2 AI. If you want to set up a 2v2, you basically need four humans and then all ready up with the COM auto fill checked off.

Not ideal - but still good news. Better than how Gundam Vs works. (no COM options at all, so if you just want to play with 2 friends, you cant play against each other in any way).

Yeah, wish Gundam Versus would have better options as well. Hopefully we get the ability to adjust AI difficulty unless its tied to your rank. Which would be odd but eh.

Anyone capable of alleviating my concerns that this game will be any fun in a 1v1 environment?

this is a concern of mine as well, and I played the Beta

Honestly, i can't say. Alot of the changes to NT in general felt really bad...until you really get the hang of the fact that the game is 3v3 and shit can get really crazy really fast, so they had to slow everything down a bit.

I mean it there's no reason why it couldn't? In alot of the online matches, alot of the time it can come down to 1v1ing, and the neutral game gets pretty tense. It's when people start trying to jump you that shit gets crazy. So yeah, once you get the hang of it, i don't see why it wouldn't work any better or worse than it did on PSP.

Two big factors though is that Dashing and Guarding are on a resource now, and there's also a timer. I feel like 1v1 matches could actually be really good with that, regardless of the 3v3 changes.

Waiting for the open beta is killing me here. I watched the last JP stream and it's pushing me hard towards day one. There's going to be a lot of new fighters added this year.

I love the psp games but NT still has me on the fence. I'm on the SFV hype train and MHW hype train. Why did this game have to be sandwiched in?

Has there been an official conversion of times for the Beta? I'm in AEDT which is quite a few hours ahead of America and Europe. I think the Beta for them is coming on the 12th so I'm guessing it would go live down under on the 13th at some awful hour in the morning?

Now the real question is, between Dissidia NT, Monster Hunter: World, and DBF, which two should I keep?

you have to increase your player level to earn tokens to unlock the story mode pieces, which means you watch a scene, back out to play however many matches you need to level up, come back, unlock, repeat

I should've bought this on disk -_-

I feel like I'll get more out of Dissidia NT and MHW purely based on the community and the campaign. Plus,

This is me as well, lol.
Let's just say that right now, DBF is pretty low on my hype list lol! So I think the answer is clear haha!
NT beta 1/12.
DBF beta 1/14.
MHW beta 1/19.

We're at the home stretch. I'll be picking two as well.
Dang that's true! We have three betas this month! One will go. Two will stay. I'll pick up the one I had to drop later on.

I am so unbelievably torn on this. I put well over 500 hours in the first two games on the PSP. I absolutely love them.

I played this in the arcade and I didn't like it very much at all. Then I played the beta and had a great deal of fun, still have misgivings about 3v3 though. And be single player content looks lacking compared to the previous games.

But then I see all the different costumes to unlock and the music and the stages and I just want to buy it. I'm not sure I would ever play it much online though.

Anyone here with some more indepth impressions? Specifically if you were a fan of the previous games
