So is Strange Brigade like Left for Dead? Any good as a single player game or should i just not bother? The setting appeals to me but i'm not interested in multi.

Wow, I was really excited for Strange Brigade before it launched, then I forgot about it and it just kind of fell off the map. Can't wait to try it out.

So the list is right?

December Game Pass
- Ashen (coming to Game Pass day 1, said to come out in 2018, so basically confirmed)
- The Gardens Between (29th November)
- Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (1st December)
- Ori and the Blind Forest (1st December)
- Mutant Year Zero (4th December)
- Strange Brigade (6th December)
- Kingdom: Two Crowns (11th December)
- ...+ more games to be announced in December

That's pretty incredible value. I'd be tempted to jump into most of these, or play some other backlog games on the service like Quantum Break, but...I just started playing Hitman (2016) again and am very tempted to go from that straight into Hitman 2 during an inevitable boxing week sale. Hrmmm.

What a great game The Gardens Between is. Had never even heard of it before but I just completed it in one sitting. Beautiful, short and fun. If I had to pick a negative there are a few puzzles which aren't explained too well which makes them a bit hard when in reality they're simple. Either way this just completely justified my November subscription alone.

Maybe I missed it somewhere along the way, but I'd love to read a business analysis of how Game Pass is financially viable for all parties involved. Game Pass is such an outstanding program and and it's just now reaching the year and a half mark of its life.

Mutant Year Zero looks fucking awesome, I'm looking forward to that.

Hell, I think I'll be playing all three of these games actually.

There was a Polygon article today I saw on Twitter talking about it, I'll try and find it for you.

Edit, found it.

Strange Brigade is really fun and challenging at times. Mutant Year Zero is looking really good as well. Game pass keeps delivering.

I played solo all the way through. Some moments of frustration along the way as it's clearly balanced for co-op, but I really liked it overall.

Levels are big, well-designed, and have tons of hidden areas and puzzles to solve. Light-hearted tone with a surprisingly entertaining narrator. Shooting is nothing revelatory, but feels solid and gets the job done (though some situations can be frustrating if you have the wrong load out as a solo player).

Man, I wish I could buy more subscription. Reached the maximum :/

X and game pass is the best thing that happened to gaming for me.

I really hope MS will go all out next gen. ALL OUT.

I'm happy with these new additions and really excited to play to The Gardens Between, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

This is slightly off-topic probably but has there been any info on Void Bastards and when it's launching and/or releasing on Game Pass? It definitely caught my eye on the X0 stream.

That all sounds good to me. It's up to 4 players allowed, right?

I'm gonna join gamepass this month finally. Getting to try hellblade without buying it pushed me over the line.

Own Hellblade and Ori (Best Metroidvania Game this gen) but want to play all the rest. Fantastic month. Mutant Year Zero and Ashen are two of my most anticipated games this year. Ever since I got hooked on Xcom.
