I wouldn't be surprised if he got off with a slap in the wrist, unfortunately.
He should do a few years, easily, and he defintely needs to be put on a register.

Not sure what happened there? But I meant give***
I mean, the specifics don't really matter all that much here
if they were in a relationship or just friends, she said no and luckily it was reported
I mean, it's the report from the witness and the victim togetherThe specifics matter when the outcome of this affects the guy's entire life. The only testimony we have is from guys who heard something on an open mic. Would that be enough for a court of law? I have no clue, but I do think we should wait on the victim's testimony before jumping to conclusions.

This whole "guilty until proven innocent" mindset that most of the world has baffles me and I'm glad this callousness doesn't transfer to the courts.I mean, the specifics don't really matter all that much here

In what world does it make sense to disregard specifics in an un/partially investigated case?
If the guy is guilty based on evidence other than an open microphone in an online game, such as cross examination of testimony, physical evidence and other investigative legwork that I confess not to be an expert in then damn him to all hell.
But never should you disregard the specifics of a criminal case especially in a system where almost 5% of death row inmates are found to be innocent at any length of time after their sentencing.

Yep, as it turns out, playing too much GTA does turn people into rapers. They should have separated art from life or something. Am I doing the pedophelia defense right?

We have a statement from the victim, we have an impartial witness corroborating. I think that's enough for us to make conclusions. The court of law is a separate matter. And if you truly care about the victim in this case (which I don't think you do) there is also a police report corroborating her statement, as has been posted here. So what's your endgame here?
Endgame? The hell are you talking about? I'm simply saying let's have the facts besides an open mic before I sign up for this witch-hunt. I had no idea we had a statement from the victim, I was just going by what was in the OP at the time. Seems like it's been edited since then.

A medical exam supported her claim and DNA tests eventually identified Fabian as the suspect.
The irony of yelling "wait for the facts" and you can't even be bothered to read the article.
I mean I read the snippets that OP highlighted. It's still more than a lot of users here who post without even reading the title correctly. It's also been edited since then, as I said.

Disgusting. But why was she in his house to begin with? Are they in a relationship and he forced himself on her that night? We don't know all the details. He's a pedophile sex offender though for sure.
Respect for the one reporting this but I assume he knew that shitstain?
I'm confused how calling the cops telling you heard something while playing a videogame and having nothing but a username might have lead to this result.
If you just know the username, I'm sure the police can get all the other details themselves by contacting Sony/PSN (name/ip address/maybe even messages and voice communications).

Not enough, clearly. When you say you want more facts when you didn't even click the article to see if there are more facts, maybe you shouldn't jump on THAT bandwagon.I mean I read the snippets that OP highlighted. Honestly can never understand rapers? Like sex is passionate and everything but it's so much about giving and receiving, trying to please each other, I can never understand how u even get aroused if the other person is not into it??
Just what?!! But I guess it's good I don't understand that mindset, it's the mindset of a bad guy...smh
Yeah...just really unfathomable to me how anyone can derive pleasure from that.
