I think Witcher 3 had some good ones that were Gaelic or old English songs? Not sure.

The lyrics are German and the singer is Japanese
This is one of the worst thing Japan does with anime. They really love Germany and German stuff for whatever reason and try to shoehorn it into their stuff and it sounds HORRIBLE to anyone who can speak German(except if you're some turbo weeb or something).

Blumenkranz from KLK is a great example of this.

"Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger" is the first line in the AoT opening and it's actually understandable, but most of the time the pronunciation is so off that you can't understand a single word. It's quite funny.

Panzer Dragoon Orta. The Panzer Dragoon games use a made-up language called Panzerense, which is also being used in Orta's ending theme called Anu Orta Veniya (sung by Eri Itoh).

Same goes for the Panzer Dragoon Saga credits theme:

If it's any consolation, they do this with English too and it also sounds pretty weird most of the time. Though since you're writing your posts in English, maybe you've already noticed that?

Yeah, I noticed that.
Usually they threw one or two words in there, I see it all the time in the Detective Conan openings. At least there are subtitles in the openings so you can notice it despite the often times funny pronunciations.
But to be fair, my pronunciation of English isn't that good either, so I shouldn't be that harsh.

I was going to mention "Baba Yetu," but it's already been brought up.

I admit... I did have to look it up to see in what language it was sung.

Bound by Flame has a stunning score that fits this criteria. Seems little known, sadly.

*edit*
Couple more for good measure;

Baba Yetu from Civilization IV. As far as I know, its the only game soundtrack song to ever win a Grammy.

The song itself is the Lord's Prayer in Swahili.

Other ones from Civ series are nice too

Both of Shaka themes in Civ V:
Peace

War

Russian Atomic Era theme:

There's Georgia and the Zulus in Civ VI DLC too which are very, very nice.

and from House in Fata Morgana. I believe the lyrics are Portuguese, if YouTube comments isn't pulling my leg.

Nope, not listening to that second one. Not in a millions years.
Literally burst into tears every fucking time I hear it. I only heard the first few seconds and I'm already on the verge of weeping.

I really like Risa Ohki's rendition of "La Mia Tristezza" from Suikoden II.

It's perhaps a bit cheating because, as far as I know, it's a song that's supposed to appear in the game but doesn't for one reason or another.

Well, I bet your English is better than my German. It's the only other language besides Japanese I've had an interest in learning and some decent experience with. It's a shame my High School cut a lot of the language classes after my 2nd year, I probably would have continued learning it if I didn't have to choose between it and Japanese and could've done both. That was a long time ago now so I've forgotten a lot of it, but at least it's easier to grasp than Japanese since it's so much closer to English. :) Maybe I'll get back to it after getting fluent in Japanese.

And yeah, it helps that they will often have subtitles when speaking English, sometimes we need them because of the heavy accents too.

On an unrelated (but on topic) note, I'm pleased to see so many Fata Morgana mentions. That's a great soundtrack and a great game (even though it is one of the least interactive Visual Novels I've ever seen, it's a fantastic story).

the people who posted nier are correct, and posters of culture, but drakkengard 3's ost is also in nier's made up nonsense language, and it's bangers all the way down.

tales of legendia also had a constructed language— i think?— called relares.

always felt like this ost was super underrated.

Best is Yet to Come is the only one to come to mind.

Also today I learned that Ar Tonelico songs use fake language.
