I can't believe I'm going to restart the game after 20 or 30 hours, but I need John, Abigail and Jack in my camp. I can't keep playing this game in a incomplete state.

That seems a bit excessive when you're just missing out on little bits of dialogue. Surely better to just wait for a patch?
I think the blackjack in Rhodes is bugged as hell. I've been playing for 20 minutes and the dealer has won every hand!
No problem with the saves so far, however my revolver's grip texture is permanently bugged and now it always looks red brown no matter what color of wood I choose. Which further strengthens my urge to restart the entire game.
Just a heads up, doing too much cosmetic customization on your guns may trigger a bug where it will keep swapping back to the default wood texture even though you clearly put a different color on it.
I am an excessive person, I do whatever it takes to get the result I want, that's just who I am I guess.
I'm never going to complete this game, I am constantly sidetracked. Prob 40-50 hrs in and still at th3 beginning of chapter 3.
Go hunting and robbing for five or six hours of gameplay, return to camp pockets full, get immediately approached by Dutch and Grimshaw about not giving enough. Put $500 in the pot, choose a couple of upgrades, speak to three people, get immediately accosted by Dutch again to tell me that I'm spending too much time at camp and that I used to be a man of action. Thanks, Dutch. I do feel the love.
Taking your horse for a jaunt through the water will also get him clean, though it might need to be somewhat deep.
I have had this happen twice, I now have more than enough cash so if it happened again it wouldn't be so bad, but at the time I was poor and it was frustrating.
Dammit this third challenge of the bandit challenges is pissing me off lol! I have to rob 4 stores in one day but I keep getting bounties tha are preventing me from finishing the task! I think I need to use a mask or something

So gutted my horse died. I got ambushed by loads of Lemoyne Raiders and was insta killed.

I've only managed to find one of them (2 star, of course). I've been looking all throughout the area that has a Badger symbol on it but all I'm finding are the usual suspects of Deer, Squirrels, Turkeys and Rabbits.

I think you might need to buy a train ticket before they start spawning. I tried to find one for AGES to shoot birds from for a sharpshooting challenge, but none spawned until I bought a ticket. Then it did a tutorial pop up about trains and robbing them, and since then I've seen several just roaming around.
So I just did a "mission" where I met this family in the woods.
Where can I find my fucking money? It's all gone...
Next year? Do you actually think RDR2 won't get another patch in all of November or December?
lol unless you have a 4k monitor you really wouldn't be noticing a difference.
I'm a few missions into chapter 3, and I dont think its improved at all. To me this game just reminds me how boring I find games that are just focused around a bunch of guys, was one mission involving a female character in chapter 2, and one so far in 3. Those missions I found far more engaging cause the conversation was more than two dudes saying how stupid they though each other were. Chapter 2 was long as hell, but I don't feel like anything meaningful happened (like a main plot), the quests are mainly filler activities used as a reason for conversation between camp members.
Personally i'm sticking with it, but only because I think its a very different game and that in itself is worth experiencing.
As I said, best to ignore the symbols on the map and just follow what the compendium says. It'll say something more general and natural like 'will roam forested areas'

I can look around for ten minutes in this area. Slowly, of course, becuase any faster scares everything within a 10 mile radius off.
Yet, there are no badgers here.

Just so frustrating and needlessly obtuse.
All it says for the Badger I saw was "likes Arid areas." Not exactly a lot to go on lol

By first camp you mean the one on the plains? Chapter 2?
It should click in the next couple of hours. If not, quit. The game regularly changes in terms of feel and pace for me so you never know

I literally spent two hours looking for a squirrel around the symbol area, and literally turned the game off, saying 'fuck hunting'
On my next play session I realised I never used the compendium. It immediately said to look in ANY forested area.
I had a 3 star squirrel within minutes

That's great. Go back to the heartlands and roam around where there are more rocks and bushes. You'll find one quickly

Anybody encountered a bug with legendary skins at all? Have a pristine legendary coyote skin and it's on my horse but I can't get it off or do anything with it.
Trapper won't buy it, it's grayed out when I go to Pearson...it's like I can't get rid of it.
