Togashi seems like a huge gamer from everything I've read. Its basically manga and videogames. I guess he spends time with his family too...

Not everything is clear, but:

- Theta's face returns to normal?
- Melody is being held in custody and questioned about what went on at the banquet. She's informed that one of the Princes was impressed by her performance and wants to meet her.
- Fugetsu is also questioned?
- In Halkenburg's quarters, some info about the guard of the Prince who gave his "life" so Halkenburg could shoot the arrow. Things are confusing here in translation.
- In Luzurus's quarters, Basho tells him about the aura he felt from Halkenburg's quarters.
- Stuff about Benjamin/Halkenburg/Luzurus.
- Kurapika continues the Nen lessons, and prepares Water Divination for them to learn their Nen types (it'll happen in private, but Kurapika and Bill will be there).
- Furykov and Babimyna talking. Furykov thinks maybe Rihan should come there to deal with Kurapika, but Babymina says Rihan's ability is best at dealing with the Guardian Spirit Beasts. Rihan is currently with Tubeppa (5th Prince), but her GSB hasn't shown itself.
- Salkov continues Tserr.'s Nen training.

Oh, this translation for Tserr.'s last line makes more sense: "By the way, I got surprised by my recent change of heart. Don't you think two-faced girls are cute? ♥"

I was reading the comments to a new YT reaction of episode 126 and someone mentioned how Genthru's "Little Flower" was likely inspired by the Miniature Rose. I never drew that possible connection.

Chapter's up.

Of course Togashi didn't show us what Halkenburg's "hypothesis" is lol.

Looks like Luzurus and Tubeppa could be the next dead (unsurprisingly).

And Belerainte also used a heart:

I wonder why Tse wants to get his Zetsu activation under 1 second. Is it simply a matter of being able to hide his presence and Nen beast as quickly as possible, or does it have something to do with his Hatsu? There was a big emphasis on him opening his eyes while in Zetsu in the previous chapter, which was followed by Theta's illusion. In this chapter, he once again ties activating Zetsu to closing and reopening his eyes. This doesn't seem like a simple coincidence to me.

Halkenburg's development continues to be one of my favorite aspects of the latest batch of chapters. He went from an idealist to a cutthroat motherfucker, and the change still feels very much believable. Dude looked downright sinister in some of the panels this week.

Halkenburg continues to be the most interesting prince of them all, the dude is going all in now no more playing around.

I thought we were told the trip was like 3/4 weeks, but this chapter it's only 2 weeks. Maybe the 4 weeks are total for DC while the fake continent trip is only 2 week.

Hmm? Do you mean Kurap's convo? They were just talking about the nen training. I think the journey is still several weeks. Halkenburg is definitely interesting, and now we know what his ability is like. He gains control via his own crew of the arrow victim until death and then his crew comes back.

We're not yet sure if it's his guy or Ben's guard that came back.

True I guess! That'll be one of the hypotheses. The ability will be pretty OP if Shikaku has died but in line with the ceremony nen I think. I reckon Halkenburg was testing at least two things, 1: which person resumed control of his henchman, and 2: what the range for coming back was after Shikaku's death.

Ah i see, you right thats it. I was confused, i thought they were talking about the trip and that made no sense.

Halkenburg testing out his hypotheses is great. Like, I was too lazy to even give that a consideration since people develop their own abilities. Just assumed he had it all figured out the second he appeared out of nowhere with that nen arrow. But, even he doesn't know how it fully works and has to investigate. Love that Togashi thought to throw that in there.

That's what this thread is for :D Collectively trying to make sense of what's going on xD I'm very grateful for it, none of my irl friends read the manga or at least are upto date it's very frustrating

Feel the same way, my friends don't care about manga in general so its good to have threads like this too discuss things with other people :)

I have one friend who reads HxH but only when I lend him the volumes xD Considering how long they take to come out in the UK he's not exactly up to date. This thread is a godsend.

So Halkenburg says his hypothesis testing is in 12 parts. I'm presuming that's one for each prince that's still alive? Not counting Kacho as no one seems to know she's dead.
He goes next door first - although surely the adjacent room is Sale Sale's, so that's a bit odd. - edit just remembered the rooms are laid out with even and odd numbers, so Halkenburg is next door to Luzurus.

I think Halkenburg's 'nen specialist' to analyse his powers is going to be one of Benjamin's men. He'll let them analyse the ability along with his hypothesis testing and then take their will and find out what information they've gathered.

Fuck, i just realized, if his plan is in 12 parts and Git is right, he'll target someone from kurapika's team or even the guy himself, no? D:

That actually threw me off that he didn't fully understand his ability despite, as you said, using a Nen arrow to attack a Nen user a few chapters ago and all the captions describing his ability. I was assuming he'd at least tested it out already.

I think Theta did kill TerrorSandwich and Hisoka somehow got rid of the body and then switched places with him during Melody's performance.

Apparently he just instinctively realized he had the ability after his confrontation with his father, so it makes sense he wouldn't know how it works.

From what little we do know though, dude's power is straight up frightening. If that guy's soul comes back to his body after he kills the other one, then he'll have the perfect team of assassins.

Yeah, that "12 parts" bit is interesting.

The other translation just has "That sounds very plausible..."
