Exactly. Didn't expect Johnson to have 158 yards rushing and Zeke to have a terrible game.

Thankfully I already won this week at work. I'm well past his projection and have Mahomes, Hill and Beckham left.
I'm projected to win in my second league, but half of my guys haven't played yet and I'm down by 55. I'm projected to win by 20, but we all know how these things go. Got Dalton, Boyd, Hunt and Barkley. Had I played Trubisky, the shit would've been over already.
Rams defense came through this week. And shoutout to Zuerlein, missed you.

Andy Dalton is making the Chief's defense look good right now. I literally need one touchdown from you to Boyd or at the very least you to get a single touchdown. Hunt has already gotten me 31 points, it seems unfair to ask him for anything else.

Well with my opponent having Kareem Hunt tonight. I went from being up by over 50 points to just 16 points with a quarter to go for hunt and Julio Jones tomorrow
If projections hold true this will be the 7th week I've played against an opponent who put up the most or 2nd most points in a 12-team league. It's borderline comical at this point

I'm so glad I had Hunt because Dalton is trying his best to make me lose this. I'm still down by 4 with Barkley playing tomorrow, but anything could happen. I'd sleep better being in the lead before the Giants game even happened. But why risk your starter at this point.
Need 24 points from Matt Ryan and Barkley tomorrow night to get a win. Sounds easy but I just put up weak points from a bunch on my roster so nothing is secure yet. Really wish I played Marlon Mack over Breida right now...

Damn, was up almost 50 on my opponent who had Mahomes and Hunt yesterday and was fully ready to celebrate the W. Luckily I had Dalton, AJ, and Kelce do just enough to soften the blow and leave me ahead at the end. I'm happy to not need anything from Tevin Coleman tonight, as I wasn't feeling good about him. The scales are tipping towards Ito Smith, and with Freeman out I bet ATL wants to see what they got in him.
Leveon Bell did not report this week- at this point, he aint coming back till week 10 or 11 (I actually can't easily find the rules for Accrued seasons- it's either 6 or 7 games he needs to be present for). Turns out those fake sounding rumors actually were fake!
Also, this week and next week are prime time for trade sharking your players that haven't had a bye yet for other players of similar value who already have had their byes. The key to this is that the 2 best fantasy offenses- Rams and Cheifs- actually don't have their bye untill Week 12. This is the time of the season where you offer Kareem Hunt straight up for Antonio Brown- you get to "steal" a game's worth of points from these players that have very late bye weeks. If you own Mahomes, go to the Drew Brees owner and try to build a package around a swap of the 2, with you getting a small upgrade on a weaker position- something like trading Mahomes and a lower end WR2 (like TY Hilton) for Brees and a good starting RB. If you play in a league with friends, do this stuff over text messages (or Messenger/Line/Whatsapp/whatever) or in person/the phone instead of on the fantasy site, as you can probably get a verbal agreement if they aren't staring at players and their bye weeks

I've been trying to get Mahomes off a guy in my league but he's been wanting something ridiculous like a RB1 + Brees. When he has Aaron Rodgers on the bench. No thanks.
Instantly regret trading Mike Evans + James White for David Johnson + Cooper Kupp. Really hoping Kupp isn't out for more than one more week.
Blessed for CMC, Kamara, Alshon, and the Browns D to help me out this week, I was able to withstand Mahomes! (it helped that my opponent played Shady).

At this point in the season, if you are willing to put in the work each week (and your league uses FAAB instead of Waivers OR you can pick up free agents without using your Waiver priority on Wednesday/Thursday), there are NO defenses that are an automatic every week start. The 2 most consistent defenses in the league this season- Bears and Ravens- each only scored 3 points this week.
The Jags are definite drops- you don't want them next week on the road in London vs the Eagles, then they have a bye week, then a good matchup on the road vs Indy (but who knows how that game goes!), then what is likely Leveon Bells first game back. They aren't startable 3 of the next 4 weeks.
Let this be a lesson- DON'T WASTE PREMIUM DRAFT PICKS ON DEFENSES. It's especially true in the modern NFL of Defenders getting penalized for sacking QBs if they don't manage to manipulate their bodies to not touch the QB, DPI is called if a reciever looks too hard at a reciever, etc.
It's looking like I am going to be 7-0 in my money league. Thanks to Marlon Mack mostly although Thielen, Njoku and Thomas all chipped in.

I'm not an expert, but I'd say grab Mack while you can. He probably just had the best game of his season, but the Colts have winnable games the rest of the way (they have the easiest remaining schedule). Mack demolished one of the best run defenses out there. I missed him in my league because we're all Colts fans and I'm really regretting it with Sony getting injured.

Feeling like a bit of a sucker for buying into the Christian McCaffrey preseason hype from the fantasy analysts. This was going to be the year where he is the centerpiece, this is where they increase his workload, etc. But this is the Panthers. This is just an offense whose gameplan is designed in a way that leads to Cam Newton getting all of the fantasy points. That's what their offense is. I know I'm 0.5 PPR, so I should adjust downward a bit, but was at least expecting decent floor of rushing volume week-to-week and some TDs. This is like those people who foam at the mouth about Aaron Jones' talent, forgetting that the Packers have never run the ball ever in the history of their franchise.

Latavius Murray is a low end RB1/high end RB2 any week that Dalvin Cook isn't playing.
Dalvin Cook has played in 7 of a possible 23 regular season games in his career
CmC is playing 95% of the snaps, that's the highest in the league. He's not a week winner because with Cam he'll always have a low td%, but he has as safe of a floor as you'll get. He also just played against the 2nd best defense against RBs and still had a usable stat line. 80 yards 6 catches, I'll take it. I don't get the alarmism, for the draft capital you spent on him, he's been fine.
He plays Baltimore next week, the #1 against RBs, so next week should be a nice time to trade for him.

Hmm, maybe he has just had a murderers row of matchups then. I know Washington has been good against the run too.
Perhaps I had my expectations too high and was expecting him to snag more Top 5 or 7 weekly finishes. So far he has only been able to do it twice. Would love it if he could somehow find the end zone this week.

Yeah CMC is as reliable as they come, in PPR, he gets an A+++ from me. Yeah he lacks the more traditional "stud" boom weeks but goddamn do I feel safe slotting him in every week. With Kamara as my RB2? I've been feeling great.
"Hunt and Mixon v. Saquon and 15, I expect to lose by 3-5" Sigh. I've come to realize how wrong I was about the actual talent Saquon tha God has, even though I'll argue process dictated us going elsewhere at #2 overall, but asking for 27 is a real tall order. Not impossible, he hit 34 last week on 230 yards and one score, but our offense is garbage and we just don't score touchdowns.
At least I'll only have Barkley and Thielen with bye weeks left after this week. Last week had both QBs sit and got trash, this week had WR2/3 sit and their stand-ins gave me less than 3 points apiece. I can chalk up last week and this week up to byes killing me.
Not sure how much longer I can sit by with Cook on the bench before I have to make a move. He's not the reason for these recent losses, though he'd have helped, but the window to improve the roster in case he's a dud for the rest of the season is closing.

Man, what happened to Chicago's defense. 31 points to the Finns and 38 points to the Pats.. I have to imagine they'll be solid this coming week vs the Jets, and next week vs the Bills.. but yeesh. Glad I picked up Indy this week to stream instead of them. Holding 2 defenses sucks though.
