Cut it off. The very next part of my post shows the most cringe cutscenes i've seen in a game and trust me, Pyra's blushy crushy doesn't hold a candle to the... Things... They did with Ms. Arrow and Princia Ramode in F-Zero GX. It's great that you have a well-formed opinion to critizice Xenoblade 2 with actual arguments, I won't argue with that. But let's not go around and use threads as an excuse to push your narrative against this game.

I've said I like the game numerous times (check my posts, a bunch of my latest ones talk about the gameplay — I love this series, I HATE this aspect of tits and ass on a fairly substantial portion of designs), I even said I like the designs besides their unfortunate "need" to show off the girls in compromising outfits.

I post screenshots of what IS cringey and yeah the designs tie a lot into it when it's not obviously taking advantage of certain angled shots for 'better views', views which are NEVER used for male characters.

Maybe people keep bringing this game up for a reason...hmmm...HMMMM I wonder. Maybe it's because others really really don't like it either.

The game is out, and we're just working with what we got, and hyperbole has little to do with it and what we got was shameless and transparent with how it regards the female form. Even the cooler cutscenes end up distracting you because Pyra's tits are the size of her head, and almost every part of her outfit utilizes shapes and camera angles to accentuate her ass-ets.

I recall said poster talking about Dawn (a child character from Pokemon) in a similar manner and had to edit it because it was super creepy.

I will NOT argue about the character designs of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The reason why I consider this apporach of XC2 as hyperbole is because of people getting into this thread to post things from the game that are nowhere near as bad as actual terrible cutscenes (Like the F-Zero GX ones, seriously go look at those!). The cutscene at the start of Gambit matches in Destiny 2 is awful. I can't stand that character and voice actor either. His lines are swiss cheese.

Xenoblade 2 could have actually dignified designs for its women and it'd still be cringey because the issue there is the writing, the designs only maximize its issues.

Also threads like this always revolve around XC2 because XC2 is always relevant to them and happens to be popular, I don't get what you guys expect. Accept that a game you like has issues and move on.

Quiet is mentioned in every single thread similar to this and I've literally never seen an MG fan complain about it.

You make no sense whatsoever. Stop taking other people's disdain for a game you like as some kind of personal attack. Maybe the reason so many threads cropped up in Dec 2017 and why so many people are posting about it in this thread is because... it's actually that bad. Have some self-reflection.

Saying someone posting examples of XC2 in this thread is "pushing a narrative" says a lot.

I'm sorry for actually following the thread title and posting the Cringiest cutscene that I remember from a videogame, didn't realize that people found the cutscene of mythra sleeping in bed with Rex is worse than badly made, offensive videogame cutscenes from the past.

I love XC2 including the "cringe" parts. Reminds me of all the romcoms/harem anime I used to watch. I can definitely see why some would cringe, but these all get a chuckle from me.

Everything about Quiet is ridiculous, including the fact that it takes forever to unlock an actually decent outfit for her. You have to unlock silver and gold metallic skins for her first, like she is a fucking sports car or something.

Well this is the only community where I see that even in threads like this and even though this game has far less cringy scenes than other games.

Agreed with both points, but I can't really recommend most JRPGs to everyone for one reason or another. I personally I'm not conflicted at all, I loved the game even with it's flaws (which is basically what I do with every game I love), and I'm more open to accept this kind of flaws than bad gameplay personally.

I think I will do exactly that later. Baffles my mind that most really young kids play that game and nobody kills that they kill eachother. I mean yes I played Counterstrike too, but I was a bit older. But I guess it's gun culture? Where as a game with 14 hours of cutscenes with not even 30 minutes of (yes it's obviously too much for many and I also don't some designs) stupid weeb fanservice gets complained about in every thread. Most Star Ocean 4 cutscenes are way more stupid in regards to cringyness. I understand that some people complain about XC2 for designs or bad performance, but it's really annoying when people act like this is the whole game. To each their own I guess.

It has a fair amount of cringe, but let's not go crazy there. The most cringey thing I remember from the game (I finished it 2 days ago) is Veronica's "easy peasy" victory line, it's awful. In fact Veronica was cringey most of the time. But aside from that (and some Sylvando lines or Toriyama's 10 year-old level sex jokes) I woulnd't say that the game is that cringey. Boring, yeah, it's as boring as an JRPG can get, but not that cringey.

And as always, another Xc2-centered thread. I do more or less understand the complaints from the designs in the game, even more knowing that is a really great game and could been even better without them, but I do think that some people have a really limited memory if they really think that this is the cringiest game ever.

You immediately jumping to the game's defense by talking about kids killing each other in Fortnite is by far cringier than all the videos posted here combined.

XC2 sold well so I guess people liked the game. I agree it is sad every topic like this end up in another XC2 topic. There are so many games that have actual cringy cutscenes.

Sorry I get triggered when somebody pulls the good old jesus card. I don't why it's cringier to complain about young kids (under 12) killing eachother in a comic shooter and making that seem harmless? Gun culture is bad. I am from Germany so seeing underboob or boobs in general is far less worse for me than seeing kids eachother killing online, making eachother angry and getting addicted to loot. I guess we view that differently cause of cultural differences which is okay in my book. I don't exactly like all the designs in XC2 and I understand why some people complain about them, but the whole game is not as horrible and cringy as some people in here try to make it be.

No one in the Fortnite universe dies, it's a cartoony world where people have fun shooting at each other and dropping out of a bus from impossible heights with glee. Using guns that only vaguely resemble real life models. It's like saying that kids shouldn't be watching marvel movies or even cartoon films as they have the same level of violence tat Fortnite does. Arguably more so as death matters in those and is presented as an actual death instead of a "Whoopsie daisy back to the title screen you go"

The best part of that Quiet dancing in the rain cutscene is that it ends with her splashing water at Big Boss and him giggling.

Kojima is probably 12-18 months away from getting #metoo'd. I'm kind of surprised the level of flack he received for Quiet wasn't higher. And it was already pretty high to begin with, at least going by this industry's miserable standards for tasteful depictions of the female body.

XC2 sold well so I guess people liked the game. I agree it is sad every topic like this end up in another XC2 topic. There are so many games that have actual cringy cutscenes.

As if to insinuate Xenoblade 2 doesn't have 'actual cringy cutscenes'.
