Whew.
Didn't see this posted, but it's been a minute since we got good media performances of songs. And for one of the best songs of the year no less:
It's like that on his sub Reddit too. Sad thing is he'll turn some of his hardcore fans into Trump supporters. Because they blindly follow him.
True. It just finally hit my dumbass after scanning his sub reddit lol.i mean, this was always the worst part of this entire situation and reason #1 why he's a complete piece of shit for doing this

i don't think it's even out yet at all, lolSo kanye west is just ye now? lol fuck off.
it's worse than when Jay-Z decided he wanted to be JAY Z.
anyway why isn't yandhi on spotify yet so i can hate on it.
I've honestly never listened to him because he's such a clown. what're his three best songs? I'll add them to my monthly playlist. It is a true crime that 6ix9ine is as talented he is as both a songwriter and straight up rapper given how garbage of a human being he is.
It is a true crime that 6ix9ine is as talented he is as both a songwriter and straight up rapper given how garbage of a human being he is. Musically, breh has so many of his stats at 9 or 10, but then he's a garbage human being. It's crazy he's the biggest MC in New York, and his music is something that would otherwise be accepted by old heads too if it wasn't for his image/character. Music doesn't lean too hard into trap and he's spitting, he's got a unique sound and isn't really a copycat, etc.
Even the videos are good too. I live for seeing Kooda B or whoever that is dancing in every video.
Wait, so this is real!? 69 is doing a lot in Europe, see the two tracks with big German rappers this year, this track, and his intensive touring here, especially in Eastern Europe (which has been an interesting big new market for some smaller US rappers who have their biggest success there). Man, I was just listening to a German Rap podcast yesterday where they talked with a producer what the next trend could be in Rap here after the Afro- and Latin-Trap that's been the biggest wave here in the last 2-3 years and they predicted either more Electronic beats (Dutch influence) or some of the Favela/Baile Funk shit I had posted here two years ago after randomly discovering it on YT.

Regarding Favela Funk: it's such a strange sound. Young Favela kids that look like Disney Channel child stars rapping about drugs, fucking, guns, street shit, Pokémon etc. on minimalistic beats only made out of very sparse samples of strange sounds like motor bike ignitions, beating on the table, electric sparks, and short voice samples used like percussion. The strangest yet most fascinating new genre I discovered recently.

Kanye being trash (musically) now doesn't surprise me. Everyone falls off, especially people who spend their time mining talent from others. The thing that does surprise me is the lack of effort put into the music. It's clear that the "old Kanye" who did 50-60 versions of Stronger with slightly different drums/808s is gone. This is reflected in the mixes too. Mike Dean is overrated IMO and has had wack mixes before (MBDTF) but those June albums took the cake in terms of bad sound. Where is the effort? It's like they're just throwing out trash.
