Been playing on mobile for a long time. It's an excellent game. Plays great on Switch, and this will become my primary version going forward.
If yall are on the fence, just download and try it for about a week.

Considering how skeet and exploitative they are in the mobile version, and I say that as a huge fan of the game, I'm having a hard time fathoming how much they're hooking it up. I'll be blown away if we actually get that gold and the heroes in the shop currently stay at the same price. As little as 13k freakin gold is "valued" at $8-$10 worth of in game currency.
I'm very, very interested to see how this Switch version plays out.
Couldnt find a ResetERA guild, so I put a Charter up.
Edit: Capital ERA bugged me, so I renamed it ResetEra and then it said I couldnt because one exists...but I cant find it anywhere!

Are you talking about the game in general not being good or just the port itself? I used the play this on ios and found it enjoyable enough (I used to play the original DOTA a lot so I'm somewhat familiar with the genre)

Edit: Also balanced seems kind of fucked? Like I played my first ever match against another player in 1v1 and all they did was build nothing but tank and they literally out heal your damage. What?????

What region are you playing in? It takes me no more than 3 seconds to find a match.
If it ever gets a minute+ just back out and re-queue. I've played 30+ games and had 0 problems getting into games on NA.
Oh yeah? That's a smart way to try to help keep people around a 50% win rate.
Even so Im <50% because all of the crashes.
In the subreddit they tested it and say that maybe is a docked problem. And that doesnt happen in portable mode. So until im in the game I use it in portable.
I have had it crash on me once in portable mode but that's the only way I've been playing the game so far. Fortunately they seem to be aware of it and are investigating and also turned off the credibility system for now.
So is there an ERA guild on the Switch? I can't seem to find one..

I figured it out. I was typing in my username instead of my actual ID when trying to sync my mobile account to Switch.
Feeling dumb now.
Don't know if i was playing against humans or bots. i started a online match and this was my result from my second time playing this game. I know for sure i clicked online multiplayer.
Yeah, your first couple games will be against bots. You can check if they're bots by going over their names and if you can press a to see details they're human.
I've only had one issue so far where the game froze on the loading screen and I wasn't given an option to rejoin. But I've only been playing handheld. The crashing on the character select screen while docked has been an issue since the beta. I don't know why it wasn't fixed.

Yep, those are bots. Anyway, the first friendly matches after that I think the game pairs you with other noobs so it's still easy to steamroll them and easily carry your team if you're good until the game figures out it should pair you with more skilled players.

yeah, just now had what felt like a actual official match. this one was long and grueling. I still manage to handle myself well. I kind of wish this had VC.
Is there some obscure trick to playing 1vs1 with a friend? Always tells us other person is offline when trying to start the game. And can only invite to 5v5.
None of the DC heroes (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Joker) are in the Switch version. We don't know if they will be added later or not.
Really fun game, only real gripes are I'd like a slightly further camera view and a Paladins purchase all hereo's at once for a discount option.

MOBA's test your game knowledge. The person who knows more will farm more efficiently and counter-build to take advantage of their opponent's weaknesses. It's not an action game.
Man, it seems like it takes forever to get gold to unlock heroes in this game. Really bums me out. Probably will stop playing if the gold gain doesn't get any better. Even w/ all of the noob quests that give you gold chests, I barely have enough to buy 1 10,888 gold hero at level 12.
We've tried to get a ResetEra one up a couple times. I just don't think there is enough of us consistently.
Just wanted to supplement this because no one else mentioned it, the Road to Glory lets you do 2 sets of 3 matches for a hero each, for 14 heroes. That means that every day, you can do 6 matches (including the super fast 3v3 matches), and get 2 heroes for free.
Since the Switch linking event goes until Oct 7, and it only takes 7 days to complete the Road to glory, everyone still has time to jump in and get all those heroes. Not to mention more easy ones like simply completing 3 ranked matches.
I'm new to the genre but am having a good time playing, right now I'm playing Peura with an offensive build I found online and I'm learning.
I'd like to play with others from Era who don't mind that I'm new. I don't exactly know what my priorities are from moment to moment. So far, as a healer I'm just trying to stick with my teammates in general.
Not sure if we'd exchange Switch friend codes or if it's better to connect directly through the game.... Anyhow let me know if anyone would like to group up!

I dunno about you but it sometimes has massive FPS drops. Not at important times. I need friends who play this though, its lonely.
I'm definitely up for this, unless you're only looking for experienced people to learn from ? I've played one game so far so probably even more noob than you, but I'm willing to learn. Don't have any switch friends that play so feel free to PM me your friend code if you wanna try (I'm not sure about connecting in game either )
