Once you hit the LL recommendation getting excessively higher than it doesn't really make much difference. I believe you'll need at least 5 people, as I think that's the least amount that can do royal baths since it requires people standing at all plates simultaneously.
Damn that's a bummer. Further reinforces my belief Bungie did the wrong thing by emphasizing on gimmicks in the raids instead of making special encounters.
I don't full understand myself but.
Get a win streak going for valor then go into comp.
You continue to earn valor at the increased rate whilst earning glory in comp.
If you lose in comp you don't lose your win streak for valor.
So, ERA ... what's the chance of the Malfeasance coming this reset?

I hope so. Will have the Chaperone today so another exotic quest would be nice.
You don't need the full gear. That's just for the quests in your tab. Milestones can be completed with any gear.
They're only good for Lord of Wolves, which has a higher chance of dropping when doing those bounties.
What the hell is this exotic sparrow from the Arms Dealer strike? I got all pumped thinking I got a new exotic from the nightfall and instead it's the most bland "special" sparrow in the game? Just a base design with bombs strapped to it? Wow. Thanks, Bungie.

Killing Envoys aka those taken wizards if I'm correct. I maybe wrong.
Specifically killing the taken wizards. Two spawn. iirc they are named primeval envoys. Kill them as fast as possible.
Really looking forward to reset today. Hoping for big changes.

Once both wizards are down does it just naturally stack over time, or do more wizards have to spawn? It seems like, at some point, the buff just builds up even when there aren't adds spawning.
The good Gambit teams take out all the Adds/Invaders first, and then you see the Primeval get MELTED in like 15 seconds cuz they coordinate their supers/heavy ammo right at the end
Yes, you'll also hear Drifter say "Your Primevil is compromised!" along with the stacks.
I hope the City doesn't change that much ...
But this does mark the 3rd week ... so I hope that (according to the Triumph) something is going to change.
Malfeasence? Audience with the Queen? Who knows ...
Keep in mind those "milestones" are a one time thing, so the expectation is more that you'll be able to do them sometime over a month or two as you earn the set, rather than immediately do them all day or week 1.
Haven't collected the full crucible set yet myself.
Man, there's something satisfying about banking for the Primeval, then going to invade the other team and getting a triple kill before coming back to your side.

I wish I could have seen their reaction to what I did during a game of Gambit a few nights ago. We'd summoned our Primeval and almost had him killed. They had an invader come over...
It's on the new Gambit map and I'm sat on the balcony near the Primeval, taking shots with Sleeper. All of a sudden, a shot has ricocheted across the map and I've killed the invader. He must have been so salty, lol. I absolutely didn't aim for that to happen, and tbh I had no idea he was even there. But I sent him back without a kill, and we won a few moments later. Sorry for that, random person.

My fave part about Gambit was just over the weekend where we had our Primeval out along with enemy team and I invade and kill the entire team and cause it to get healed when it was down to a sliver of health and helped my team catch up and win. Saved the match cuz it was so clutch.
We need an emote for idiots running around with 15 motes when we can summon the Primeval.
So frustrating since the Drifter LITERALLY is telling you what to do.
That being said, up to 533 now on my primary character. Once I hit 540 this week, I'll get started on finishing the campaign for my secondary/tertiary characters. Hopefully the RNG gods will bless me with a god roll Better devils or Duke.

Gambit is fucking amazing....I just have yet to actually win a match. Also because my power level is still so low by comparison to others.
Yeah I don't get mad a lot at my teammates for online games because whatever but for some reason this REALLY gets me. Like homies WHAT ARE YOU DOING
Gambit is the just about the best thing to ever happen to Destiny IMO. That said i want to quit every fucking time i hear "SCORN" in that mode. Is it just me or are they completely broken. The hitboxes seem messed up... they move way to erratic and vanish in smoke when you're about to kill them... their shields last FOREVER. They dont seem on-par with every other enemy faction. Is it just me?

Don't even care about losing or being with Junk randoms. Being able to play freely and go crazy, slay out, and just be an all around murder machine is just a pure joy
The moment to moment gameplay is so consistently enjoyable that I could care less about winning but naturally im always going for the win cuz its just inherent in the gameplay

Yup. When I see Vex / Scorn on the field I'm just like :/
But Gambit is pretty dang fun.
Do people mix up their loadouts for it? I feel like I might go for a PvE / PVP / Gambit loadout like I did for Y1 of D2, but in theory my PvE loadout should be able to carry me through Gambit I guess.
If only switching weapons kept your ammo counts, I could pop on the PvP set real quick while jumping through the invasion portal.

Gambit is amazing. the only thing i dislike is how the invaders have extra health. i get that its 1v4 but the guy can see everyone on his screen and he has dozens of enemy NPCs helping him out. that and the sleeper sniping everyone is just ridiculous. we had a guy on our team yesterday that was so good at killing that when we killed our primeevil, the other team had zero motes deposited. i dont even know how thats possible.
i dont mind playing with randoms, they are awful at killing adds but thats what i am there for. i would like to level up and be able to one shot headshot people with my ace of spades. im level 520 right now and adds take way too many hits to kill. even raids werent this bad.
Exactly! I always have a great time. I just hope they keep updating and adding to it with new modes, special rounds, bosses etc. I'll play this shit for a LONG time.
Also - an unpopular opinion but i pray every day for them to cut Gambit down to a single longer round. Put me in a new match with new people and new enemies after that. 3 rounds fucking SUUUUUCKS!

I sweat some of the annoyance with enemies comes from bad connections between players or something. I've had matches were enemies were fucking elusive bastards and i couldnt hit any headshots etc. I miss being able to see everyone's ping... even if i can't do anything about it i can report them and have a reasonable explanation to why this match was shit.
It might not. Callum's Grave is "tied" to the Malfeasence as much as Gambit. Actually, The Drifter himself is tied to this handcannon, not the gamemode (iirc).
If The Corrupted Strike is a nightfall this reset... there's a good chance that you can walk a different path to reach the grave and "unlock" it.
I started playing Destiny 2 one week after Forsaken and yesterday i finished Leviatan raid for the first time... man.. that room after the Emperor fight... what is that factory? I think im gonna look for all the lore...

The lore in Forsaken (specifically in the Trumphs) dont really go over Leviathan or pre-Forsaken much from what I can tell
Most of the community was pretty much "who was this guy? what is this?" since Destiny 2 really did not go over it at all since Lore was an afterthought

It's going to be a multiple step quest, so it's likely going to require both the Grave and Gambit.
There is a step that involves killing a Malfeasance boss in Gambit tho and the text for the final step is like "you played a lot of Gambit" or something. So it's definitely involved. The part where you picked up the quest is def tied to the strike probably.
