Crackdown has Game Pass to help. It's multiplayer will determine wheter it'll bomb or not longterm.lol, but Crackdown 3 looks like it's going to bomb as well... Tag-Team Bomb.
That he's in that same age bracket? XD30 year olds huh..? wtf am i reading lol
anyways i have high hopes this will feel like an open world TLoU, without Ellie. my dream game!
I have a feeling this will be 2019's first bomba.
Really like the MC's voice work though.
Step off this website and this game actually has hype. The one hour video from game Informer is their most watched video. Impressions on gameplay seem positive the story was the worry because there's not much to see yet. Sales wise it's zombies.. it's social metrics have been tracking higher than horizon and it's the next blockbuster from sony...
There's one thing not to like something but sometimes y'all gotta separate that from the bigger picture
So if it bombs critically you think it won't sell? I don't buy it. Ppl like zombies. It'll sell some copiesPeople have higher expectations for a Triple A, Sony first party exclusive.
Probably because everything looks so derivative of everthing else mechanically, setting, art design, characters, and enemies.I'm not sure what it is about this game but I don't think I have seen a single thing that is the least bit interesting in any of the trailers. I have it in my Gamefly queue and I will check it out and give it a chance and I hope it does well. I just can't quite put my finger on what is so unappealing about this game for me personally.
The game would have to be broken or get really terrible reviews for it to not to sell. I meant they have higher expectations sales wise compared to a Double A, zombie survival Microsoft first party exclusive. So if it bombs critically you think it won't sell? I don't buy it. Just to be clear here....this is game Informers most highest viewed video on their channel
This is e3 gameplay
To sit here and think for even a second this gonna bomb because "YOU" aren't interested is absurd
I said SoD2 got mediocre reviews. Even if days gone gets mediocre reviews it will sell. I don't think that is up for debate. Ppl like zombies. And now SoD2 is AA. LOL, love it!The game would have to be broken or get really terrible reviews for it to not to sale. Yup. Could have terrible reviews and it will still sell. Mediocre reviews didn't stop sod2I feel like this game will be like GRW scenario all over again where it sells like a hotcake outside the bubble. that game is not even have an OT in ERA if I remember it correctly.
I think general audience love something easy to consume like zombie is a one of good bet that people will get just because of it has zombie in it.
It does probably was too much to handle tho. First console game in over a decade for them.
SoD2 is Double A, it sold for $30 dollars making it's high placement on NPD all the more impressive since it's by revenue. I agree with you, Days Gone will sell well even if it gets mediocre reviews hence me saying it would have to be broken or get really terrible reviews for it not to sell. There aren't as many Triple A Cinematic Third Person Action Adventure single player games and along with it being a Sony first party exclusive, which is at it's peak in quality, PS4 players are going to get this.I said SoD2 got mediocre reviews. i guess you guys don't see the gaming conferences as that big of a deal if a game informer coverage is as important in your eyes, the reality is that this is the first time sony has treated one of its conference ending exclusives in a vastly different way then it usually does, and whether that's a good thing or a bad thing it's up for debate I guess but it's undeniable that sony's decision to move Day's Gone spotlight away from the conference completely was at the very least a little eyebrow-raising, especially when u consider that this was the only exclusive ever to get a story trailer and a gameplay trailer in the same E3 conference years ago.
No idea how people think a Triple A, third person, cinematic action adventure zombie Sony first party exclusive is going to bomb on PS4 eatly next year with an even bigger install base after Christmas hungering for more.
Gamescom was last month. Assume you meant Paris Games Week.Yep, smart marketing. I wouldn't be surprised if TLOU shows up at PSX/VGAs to unveil the MP section and DG shows up at Gamescom continuing the cycle.
Rachet and clank is not a show ending exclusive that got two trailers in the same conference, I would argue that it really wasn't an high caliber exclusive in the first place since it was basically a reimagining of the first game and not a fully fledged new AAA experience, people already knew what to expect from the game by and large because of that, and on top of that it wasn't even a full price game when it realeased so again calling it AAA is stretching it a little, this is really a weak comparison you're making.I gave you the painfully obvious reason why it wasn't at the conference. And the only person I've seen making a big deal out of Days Gone not being at the conference is you. So it's safe to say that it didn't matter.
And if you really want something similar, look at Ratchet and Clank for PS4. It was announced during the E3 2014 conference, along with the movie, but when E3 2015 rolled around, was it at the conference? No. It got a trailer 5 days before it, and they were showing it on the livestream and giving demos on the showfloor. When the game came out it did very well both critically and commercially.

Sony can market this very well and they need Gameplay Trailer like Rockstar did for RDR/GTA V/RDR2 or like CDPR did with The Witcher 3
A 5-6 min long video which explains what you can do in this open world, which shows us the possibilities on how you can handle situations about humans and zombies, etc...
If they make a video like this, it will hype people and show the game in a good way
Lol the conspiracy theories begin. Congratulations days gone you made it! You the next one in the spotlight
