I know nothing about the character and this trailer really doesn't tell you much, however it's a teaser so I will wait for s full trailer to judge.

Doesn't really matter as I will probably be a fanboy once I see her kick thanos ass in infinity war 2.

Wasn't going to bother watching but the visuals and cinematography are looking great and a lot better than other marvel films. That and my recent revelation that Brie was N.V in Scott Pilgrim might actually get me to watch this. Film looks like it actually has character.

Cumberbatch sucks as Strange and lacks any charisma.
Holy shit. I had no idea she was N.V from Scott Pilgrim. That was a fun movie.

Trailer looked good. It was a teaser. Some parts looked bland but I am sure it comes together fine.

Never seen Brie Larson in anything, but she's nailing bland Carol. Not sure why they put the Granny Punch in the trailer. Just ruining a bit from the movie, I guess.

Trailer was alright but nothing that really blew me away. Larson really does sound like she's phoning in her lines but in her defense it could have more to do with her character than anything. I mean she clearly doesn't fully remember her past and Earth seems familiar yet still foreign to her. I also feel like they oddly mixed her dialogue and it's affecting our perception of her performance.

So is she sort of like marvels version of green lantern? Pilot turned space police? Havent read the comics. I also watched the trailer on mute at work.

Really underwhelming trailer for me personally.

It just looks like the typical superhero affair. A mix of Wonder Woman and that terrible Green Lantern movie.

A lot of negative reactions here. I think it looks great and I am intrigued by the origin they're hinting at here, seems to be way different from the one in comics.

i will line up day 1 for the Bloodshot trilogy

Cool.

Well you can turn up to stand in line as late as you like as I suspect you will be the only one.

You could probably even put your feet up on the seat in front of you in the cinema screening.

If it's a midnight screening the manager will probably give you a set of keys to close up the place when you leave.

Etc, etc.

I bet the in-universe reason for her not being around until Avengers 4 is because she busy single-handedly keeping the Skrulls too busy to be fully fucking with Earth.

I agree with some of the posters here mentioning Brie Larson's lack of presence for the role. I'll reserve judgement until the film releases, obviously, but the trailer really didn't seem to help. Gal Gadot just felt right as Wonder Woman from the very first trailer, but I'm not getting that same sense here with Larson.

Also, some of the CGI in this trailer looked...off.

If I remember correctly Skrulls are shared but Super Skrull is Fantastic Four. The tricky part is actually whether or not F4 could be used because I don't think the rights actually sit with Fox but through some other company that just did joint production on the films with Fox.

Yeah F4 was included in the Fox deal, Iger has even mentioned them by name.

It's not as clear as Fox own them then Disney bought them due to Constatine's involvement but for all intents and purposes Constantine is a non-issue and Fox handled the F4 which is now (well, in a couple months) in possession of Disney.

Are we seeing Binary form there at the end? Cause damn I am so hyped for a scene where she uses that.

Something about that just didn't do anything for me. The first half was good I think but then it dwindled down. Will still be there weekend 1.

Brie Larson seems wooden. Is that supposed to be the case with this character?

She's probably gonna be unlike the comic character personality wise, she had some bad writing decisions so she comes across as a dick a lot. MCU Carol will probably take Cap's mantle of morality and justice.

Wait, that's what Brie Larson sounds like? Huh. I always pictured Captain Marvel with a deeper sounding voice. Not like smoking deep but I cant imagine Larson having the same imposing presence like in the comics. The look is right but the she sounds too sweet. Oh well, cant be completely perfect. Still looking forward to it. Im confident Larson can knock it out of the park.

Showing her punch the old lady with no real context was a strange decision lol. But the last 25 seconds were hype. You got me Marvel. You got me.

Why the fuck would they include her punching and old lady... That shit was weird. I'm sure it will make sense in the larger context of the film, but it was completely unnecessary.

Alright trailer otherwise.

I agree with the old lady thing being weird. That being said, it was probably a marketing tactic to include it in the trailer. Because, well, it's got us talking about it, and people wanna know what's up.

So in, early trailers are always a bit weak but I'm digging the initial tease! Can't wait.

Hope Carol does a massive energy blast at some point though/shows off how strong she really is physically.

Also this better be in there!

This reminds me.

There is a good chance Carol runs into the Dark Order in this film, methinks.

I'm kind of confused about the direction. So is she an alien or does she have a life on earth? what's the deal?

From the teaser - she landed from space, she doesn't quite know her past but gets flashes. She was clearly a girl on earth that went through various trials - literally knocked down, but she is determined - gets up again. Also she was a fighter pilot which we see in flashback. And she is experiemented on with lasers or something and turns into the human torch.

So Constantine no longer holds any stake in the F4 rights then?
