I have a feeling this will be 2019's first bomba.
Really like the MC's voice work though.
The people saying this is going to bomb probably said the same thing about Horizon.
My god do some of you live in a bubble, lessons are never learned here at all.I mean, Horizon had the crutch of "robot dinosaurs" which is pretty fucking cool.
Days Gone doesn't really have much going for it in terms of "wow factor".
Yes this was well established when battlefront didn't bomb, ghost recon didn't bomb, the division didn't bomb, horizon didn't bomb, the list is embarrassingly long I'm not even gonna continueMy god do some of you live in a bubble lessons are never learned here ta all.

Also the wow factor as pointing out by many previews are the hordes which are fun to take down going by them.

You should be fearing for Metro. Out of the 3 games launching on feb 22, that one is the most likely to commercially bomb.
Nah....we'll wait here..yea probably lolLots of crazy people here I see, or maybe I'm the odd one? xD I think this game looks amazing!
It's a fun game for people to hate. People here are underestimating it but it'll do fine. I guess when people line up the third person narrative action games from Sony next to each other they just decide this is the worst one for some reason.Lots of crazy people here I see, or maybe I'm the odd one? xD I think this game looks amazing!
Its open world with a day and night cycle and dynamic weather as wellApologies if this has been covered to death, but do we have a ton of info on moment to moment gameplay? A lot of the pre-release focus seems to be on narrative, which leads me to believe it will be more linear, but if this is open world zombies, then I'm all about it. If it's more linear, I'll still definitely check it out, but severely less interested. Already have Last of Us to give me my story focused linear post-apocalypse.
It's a first party Sony title, with enough marketing and good reviews it'll sell decent at worst.

I don't know about amazing but I'm in since I saw the first story trailer.Lots of crazy people here I see, or maybe I'm the odd one? xD I think this game looks amazing!
I'm excited for it, especially to see how the story plays out and to just explore the world.Lots of crazy people here I see, or maybe I'm the odd one? xD I think this game looks amazing!
They had a full month of coverage on the game before E3, with lots of gameplay and info and even a launch date announcement trailer dont know what you are talking about. This game went from being shown as final trailer at E3 to not even being mentioned at the last E3, I fear that the game is not in the best of shapes and sony is quietly shoving it under the rug.
don't you think that it's a little strange that at the e3 where sony specifically dedicated all the time of its main stage to AAA exclusives that day's gone not only didn't even get a trailer shown on stage, it wasn't even MENTIONED, for comparison a new franchise like spider man was present at every single e3 main stage since it was announced. Sony deciding that days gone is not worthy of its main stage anymore is really telling, i don't know how you can't see that. They had a full month of coverage on the game before E3, with lots of gameplay and info and even a launch date announcement trailer dont know what you are talking about.
The game had sevreal streams at E3 as well and several new previews and interviews.
I don't think Metro is that big. I would be more worried about Anthem.
This game has all the ingredients but still something feels off.
Needs more polish.
I don't know how can they not capture a epic moment in trailers till now with such great concept.
Needs better showings before release.
Only if you think they need to sell 10 million.

If it does 5m LTD, it would be a fantastic result for this studio. You should be fearing for Metro. Out of the 3 games launching on feb 22, that one is the most likely to commercially bomb.
Despite Era's grudge against this game all metrics for Days Gone have it tracking to be pretty successful. Maybe not spiderman/gow successful, but enough to pull out ~5 million in the first few months probably.
I hope you mean looks off
