Some people getting the time confused and think the Direct is happening today.
No they didn't, someone at NoA said "we have no plans at this time" when asked about Virtual Console which is marketing-speak for "we haven't announced anything so fuck off."
I've never played it either, so for me it's the same. I read something about it being a bit incomplete, so obviously a definitive version would be fine, but maybe in the future they will do a X2.
It's mostly that we want Xc2 representation (music, stages etc..) and the main characters are basically the most realistic option. I personally would like to see Elma too, but if I must chose, I'd prefer Xc2 representation as I like the game a lot more than XcX.
They can do 2 characters in a direct mini just open and closed and sakuria won't go into detail

I really don't think having the Switch online info in a Nintendo Direct will be a good thing, especially given most of the features aren't very exciting to begin with. I think that should be delegated to another website update and possible youtube uploads that detail how cloud saves work and the phone app...
But yeah Nintendo Direct! If this is truly happening tomorrow, it would be really nice to have some decent surprises leading into the end of 2018.

I'll be driving the hour up to Redmond and burning all of my consoles in front of NOA headquarters. That's true righteous anger right there.
Hopefully they add some SNES games to the launch of Online service. It would be great if I can play Super Mario RPG on Switch.
We probably won't get much XB2 representation (if any) in the base game anyway due to when the roster was locked in.
There have been a reasonable Pokemon rumor floating around since last week. The fact that a Direct might happen tomorrow adds a little credibility to it :
