You have to remember that those on active duty aren't necessarily from Cali too. They can be from anywhere in the country. But even those from the state were ignorant too, though and were Sacramento or LA natives. What?! Wow, I'm in the Pacific so I guess we all just on outside looking in from here. That or people just being political and keeping their mouths shut.
Edit: damn it's going to be a culture shock once I head back to the US.
Number one: once a marine always a marine.
Number two: what the fuck does this have to do with the US Military. Nobody in military is even thinking or talking about this.
As an American I cringe to hear that our domestic mess is spilling over into airwaves of other countries. I guess the more people who hear about it, the better though.
Kap stunked ass versus the Bills last time he played him.
Why would they bring him in?
Probably posted already but I couldn't stop laughing over this one.
That's an excellent question.America, you're so goddamn lame.
How can anyone have pride in America while America does baby shit like petulantly cutting apart their socks?
Wat. At first I thought it was a joke.... then I saw a picture of his burnt feet. :O
Since when have the two had a correlation. How do so many petty and stupid people exist in a developed country?
Dunno, I feel this was a bad move by Nike and Kaep. I support the kneeling, but for people who said this wasn't about the troops, they went ahead and made it that.
Ok. I'll concede:
Nike's marketing team is the best there is right now.
The troops love Nike

Yeah, love the marketing idea behind it. Nike's advertising teams are bananas though, always with top content. It's really a brilliant campaign, because unless you're a political nutjob, it works even if you disagree with Kaepernick's stance. It's impossible to deny the man is fighting (and paying a price for it) for what he believes in. And that's worth your respect, which is the message they want to sell.
Well, they actually want to sell shoes, but let's leave cynicism at the door for a moment. Also because this is a brave commercial move. There will be people who will be pissed off at this. But if they enjoy positive or even stable commercial results, they'll be making a point about their audience, and one that is going to be a big L for those who hate on the campaign.
Last night on a friends Facebook, whom is a cop, some woman wrote (paraphrasing):
This is just wrong by Nike. Imagine being a cop where you're judged by your uniform and could die for wearing that uniform.
