I have really been pulling for Carmella. I think she's a solid promo, which many of the women on the roster need a lot of work with. But her in-ring just isn't getting better. She shouldn't be in high profile match let alone holding the title any longer.
Her promos aren't even that good though.

Remember when JBL started commentary after his inring career? He was a second Matt Striker with actually dropping NJPW facts and shit, so fresh and incredible.
They change you pretty fast into a boring corporate commentary machine.
Compare it to every other Carmella match. It's not great wrestling, but it's wrestling.
I'd like to apologise for placing this match in the "could be decent" tier of my summerslam predictions, I underestimated how much Carms would drag it down and for that I beg your forgiveness.

I don't know. I enjoyed her "shoot" promo a few weeks ago to Becky. I guess I mean that she doesn't stutter or stammer when delivering her lines. She doesn't draw a big reaction, but at least she gets through it without looking like she's constantly trying to remember her lines.
I can't blame them, the show has been pretty weak so far.
