What's your favorite design of Link?

Easy call.
Link finally enters the 21st century. Zelda will always be my favourite franchise, but the peter pan hat had to go. It's an outdated design and made link 'uncool'. I especially love that all of his equipment can be seen at once. It's always bugged me that you can have something equipped and it isn't part of your aesthetic.
Far and away. One of the best looking characters of all-time.

Hyrule Warriors is my favorite. It's incredible how something as inconsequential as a scarf can make Link look a million times better.
That's because scarf is not inconsequential at all. They are a really important part of design, often centerpoint of the whole ensamble, due to ho dynamic they are, when put to action.
Can't help but love CDi's stoopid charm.

The scarf makes him more dynamic. Definitely a cool design.
The Katsuya Terada style. There's something so basic and raw about his depiction of Link that I just love.
Kid who has seen some shit, goes to a world that has seen even more. Also being a Deku Scrub makes you appreciate this form more.

BOTW's Zelda might also be my favorite if only because its the first game that shows her having this thing called personality instead of being a stoic, boring empty vase. Second favorite Zelda design? A Link Between Worlds! She's unbearebly cute!

I also really like Wolf Link's design.
Just wished the gameplay of wolf link was better, it's mostly static throughout the whole game (You learn one additional move for the whole game, you needed more to keep up with base Link and his growing arsenal of items).

That's a quote from Talladega Nights, it's a scene where all the characters are describing their personal favorite version of Jesus, these are all ones from John C Reilly's McNaughton character, but replacing Jesus with Link. It's a very silly film.
The two in the OP are most likely my favorite. I've always liked Link more with the darker hair and I think my first posts on the IGN boards way back in the day like 2000ish were defending the style of Wind Waker (I was really impressed by the "explosion effects" and the swirling smoke when you killed an enemy).
He does all the dog stuff: Sniff, bite, bark, and dig. Good enough for me!

The illustrations were made for Nintendo Power. He also made drawings for the Secret of Mana articles which, while cool, are a little less fitting for that game's tone.
Anyway, the Zelda art is great, though I must admit people were pointing to it as the intended version of ALttP/LA for a little too long.
As for the Links, I think they all fit their games well, so no one preference. Though ALttP/ALBW Link looks great in figure form.

For some reason, I don't take to HW Link. Maybe it's the face, though Skyward Sword Link had a pretty weird face too. I guess the overall design philosophy of the characters is a little removed from the Nintendo-developed titles, where things are often goofier.
