Autumn isn't as great as we all think it is

Real talk... the lack of autumn is my least favorite part of living in Los Angeles. Makes me miss Oregon, actually.
As someone who also lives in NJ, I can't agree more. Favorite season by far. Can't wait for that perfect hoodie weather!

Another thing, the fucking pumpkin beers come on August 15, way the fuck in summer and leave by oct 21, before fucking Halloween. I barely have enough time to sample a couple of six pack s, as I don't buy them before last week of September as a rule. WTH do I have to stock up on oct 15 for Halloween????
I love Autumn but it is a false season in Ohio. Summer has a habit of keeping a death grip around here well into October without it actually feeling like fall until late October, then Thanksgiving comes around and we get some snow and winter might as well be here then.
There is a lot of competition in the pumpkin beer space now, risk waiting until late September and you will not be able to move your product. They wouldn't be putting it out now if people weren't buying it. I'm not buying it, but people are.

Yeah, mine come in waves, final raking is like end of Nov unless I m helping my brother then it's the first week of December.

Autumn is the best!
- First of all it marks the turn of the weather from uncomfortably hot to crisp and comfortabley cool. I love to bring out the hoodies and start using the fire again.
-The colors from the leaves falling off the trees is spectacular (this usually happens where I love for me starting at the begInning of September)
- The kids go back to school, which is both a reprieve on my wallet thanks to reduced dayhome fees and my house maintenance due to them being around less
- The NFL starts, this is big for me, suddenly my sundays for the next 18-19 weeks is consumed by football
- Pumpkin Spice shit starts appearing, this has gotten a bit of backlash recently but fuck y'all PS is the best
- Halloween: the best non-holiday holiday
- Black Friday / the start of the Xmas season.
- Canadian Thanksgiving: My favorite holiday, it's like Christmas without the obligation of presents.
- Also my birthday is in October so that adds to the list.
Im sure Im forgetting some stuff, but the period from September 1st - Dec 25th is always my favorite time of the year.

We officially can't have nice things.
We don't have fall in Florida, unless you measure it strictly by the appearance of pumpkin spice lattes. We transition straight from Summer into about three weeks of Winter, and then right back into searing heat.
Depends on where you live. In L.A., it's not nearly as bad as winter and about on par with spring. In the north of France, it's not anywhere near as bad as winter but worse than spring and summer.
I don't like it because it's the beginning of the end, and when I was a kid it was synonymous with school starting again after two/three months of vacation, but it's okay overall. Winter is the sucky season.

Summer is what I live for. Spring is hope. Autumn is descent into hell.

Fall sucks. Only better than Winter. Most of the things people like about fall are really just localized to October, and they conveniently forget that November and December (except the best part, Christmas and New Years) are also in fall. If you live in the South or somewhere else, I get it, summer can be unbearable. But in the Northeast, fall is vastly overrated

Winter coming, freezing temps and in nj, nor easters, which in fall are long rain storms that last all weekend.
I don t sweat much but I do get cold easily. Have no problems with mosquitos by me and love watching a thunderstorm roll in.
In Texas, it's that day between summer and winter where you wear your windbreaker, and it happens in November or December.
I'm in MA, we get noreasters too. I'm fine with the storms but the humidity is absolutely disgusting
I love winter tho, skiing and snowshoeing and winter sportz are awesome. Also eating hot food and drinking tea and cocoa and coffee on a cold day is an unparalleled pleasure
in the UK at least september to October is a beautiful time a year in terms of temperature and general look and feel with the falling leaves. Then we get to mid November when it starts to be grim

I think they have actual Pumpkin flavoring, the vegetable pumpkin, in DD pumpkin coffee while Pumpkin Spice Latte is a complete and total lie with no pumpkin flavoring at all.
It's one of the best times of year in Utah. The leaves turn in the mountains/canyons and it's beautiful. Late September - November here is great.
Autumn is already the best time of the year, but it's even better when you live somewhere it actually starts on time. There are few sites more beautiful to me than driving up to the Rockies during fall. Plus, it includes Halloween, which is pretty much my Christmas season.
SAD is a terrible thing. I generally love autumn but do come down with SAD on a regular basis.
