But PS2 brings back a level of excitement I had for a console that no other has ever even remotely matched. It felt like you was booting into the future.

I think the best boot screen is undoubtedly GameCube's; however, my favorite is Playstation's. As a Nintendo kid, hearing that music coming from the PSOne felt like entering another world.

The Dreamcast's is ruined because it's always preceded by the surprisingly loud, annoying beeps that come from the VMUs because the batteries are dead. And they're always dead.

I would love the PS3's orchestra tuning more if it didn't immediately follow a shrill, un-mutable BEEP every time the console is turned on. Same with the PS4.
