What's the most cash you've ever spent on a single game? Just the game, DLC and micro transactions don't count. I just spent £175 on Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness on the gamecube, which checking my own records is now the single most expensive game I've ever bought.

Mother 3 Deluxe Box cause it came with a Game Boy Micro. This was around release though so I think it was $150? Probably more now. I sold it a ways back though.

199.99 Steel Battalion for the original Xbox. I still have it it still works and I still play it one of the greatest game investments I've ever made.

Used one of my first paychecks as a teen to buy an imported copy of Tales of Phantasia (SNES) for... I don't remember exactly how much, but it was well over $100.

$250. I bought the collector's edition for Cyberpunk.

Now if we count MMOs and sub fees, waaaay more than that.

Probably doesn't count really since it was coming out of my Dad's wallet, but £££s on FFXI. 4 years of subscription.

+ DLCs/Expansions, though I think I paid for them at least.

Edit: DLC not counting. Well, subscription probably doesn't count either.

In that case I don't think I've ever spent more than £50.

A mountain in the US
Like 80 usd when I used to buy a couple collector's editions maybe 6 years ago, but I'm digital now.

Oh, shit. I guess Kingdom Hearts 3 standard edition digitally may have cost more because I bought the Japanese version on release. So... maybe 85 usd?

Full priced Smash Ultimate, plus the two fighter passes, plus most Mii costumes. Makes for 180-ish canadabux.
Goes without saying that I don't ever go for collector's editions.

Turok on N64, got it day one and it was like $129 AUD. I'm so glad that price didn't become the norm.

Probably $1000+ on Fortnite in general but the most I've spent on a CE of a game was $90 for Link's Awakening imported from Europe.

I spent $80 on a used copy of Xenoblade Chronicles after the initial run of GameStop copies sold out. I never even played it.

Do subscriptions count? If so, FFXIV, easily, several hundred dollars

If not, $99.99 USD, I bought the game + season pass versions of a few games at that price point

I had a NeoGeo growing up but my parents bought all of the games for that so it doesn't count.

I remember importing Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid 2 from the US to the UK, they were about £150 each maybe slightly more for FFVII but I can't be sure. Think that's the most I've spent on a single game.

I paid $150 for the Injustice collectors edition that came with an arcade stick. Because I wanted the arcade stick.

I'm very much a cheapskate when it comes to gaming, but I believe I paid full retail price for Final Fantasy X close to release. Something like 595 SEK ($55 + tax), maybe?

250$ for NieR:Automata collectors edition i believe after shipping and taxes. No regrets. It's one of my favorite games of all time and the franchise is super important to me.

If multiple copies count it's definitely Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception or Mask of Truth

Vita NA physicals
PS4 EU physicals
Vita JP physicals (collector's edition)
Steam digital copies

I remember paying $75 for GTA: SA from a mom and pops store. They claim it was because of supply and demand. it was probably bullshit, but I wanted that game badly so I paid it.

I bought the collectors edition of Uncharted 3 because I was a super fan… which I'm sure was more than $59.99.

When I was a teenager I bought Black Ops 3's special edition for $200 along with the digital deluxe for $100. Then I also purchased it on a different console for $60 and on PC for $15. I later purchased it for two friends with all the DLC included for $50 each. And then I spent about $300 on MTX. So that's probably the most I've spent on a game. No regrets, loved every second

£65 for Demon's Souls PS5.

I have a large collection of arcade games and I've never spent more than that.
