Somewhere buried in the Threadnaught (I don't know how to search it), someone asks him why he's an R since he advocated so hard for the defendants in the case. (Remember the theory that the Conservative Judge would side with Vig because TX has no patience for "#metoo bullshit"?) IIRC, he claimed there were fiscal issues that kept him from going full D, but GOPers hate him because he doesn't hate minorities enough. I think it had something to do with his run for one of the offices in his local government. That always stuck out to me.
Are all the documentations of police-brutality by our fine sir Doucette current?

My cousin (unfortunately #ISWV because he's a dipshit) was trying to go off on "oh they just making shit up, this wasn't a problem before" and I was like no, I very clearly recall Kotaku articles of Vic being a major creep. Had to have been either late in high school or early in the college, either way it was 5-10 years ago.
I remember a post from 5+ years ago, I dunno what forum (maybe GAF or SomethingAwful?) that essentially was like
"if you go to a con, and you're a man, don't even try to meet Vic, he'll just ignore you. Also don't if you're a young girl, he'll just creep on you." Paraphrased, of course, but something along those lines.
Seriously, it absolutely has to be like a decade or more ago that I heard about his behavior. Even before all this, it was the first thing I thought about whenever I saw his name.
