I'm pretty sure as long as you have the reward yes.If I beat a boss in someone elses world, will it still count as long as I get the reward to put on the hook?

There is also the trainer by FLiNG if you are interested in cheats. Pretty easy to find just Google it.
We just used a lot of supplies the first time so it limited our second attempt. Could've def prepared more but waiting for our 2 kegs to make health potions wasn't what we wanted, and making more was even less so at the time...Interesting, besides getting a weapon that can hurt it I didn't find that one to be much of an issue (as long as you use poison resist but you don't want to go into the swamp without poison resist anyway). The constant rain makes health and stamina regeneration an issue (unlocking crypts and placing campfires inside to recover might help, I stashed my key before fighting it) but the adds are practically harmless and its punches aren't that strong either. I would usually take off a fifth of its HP just wailing at it before the poison would leave me at low HP so I'd have to back off and heal or die and respawn. My parries weren't strong enough to stagger it though, maybe a stronger parry would be even more effective.
Yes. I beat a boss in one world and hung it up in my base world and got the power.

We also didn't have any parry-users - we had our Specialist Bigshield & Fists Stealth character (Who actually picked up a wood club, making it the first weapon he's ever used!), and me being our Two-Handed user. Big hammer just has slow DPS but great AoE, and my Battleaxe of course wasn't as concretely strong.
Basically round 1, we got it to 80% health in ~200 arrows & hits before poison res potions ran out & we inevitably died.
Round 2 we had 6 medium healing potions split in half (3 each), enough Tasty Meads for urgent stamina needs, and 1 hour each worth of poison res so that was good. Sausage/Turnip Stew/Honey (big health ticks, lower max hp). I had the Greathammer so I had to clear the mobs too, which took time/durability. Basically if I was aggro'd, I couldn't safely get more than 1 hit in, and even 1 was risky. We eventually got our big damage in during the long cloud animation where Shield user would aggro bonking with club when feasible, I would spam attack + tasty mead until Shield User ran out of stamina/health/adds adding up/poison ticks. About 10-20% health per combo depending on what actions/adds/stamina situation was. Health pots had run out long long long since so a lot of kiting had to happen while adds kept coming & kept having to clear them. We did flatten the area as best we could which is nice.
We actually finished the kill *right* as I died, with my hammer long since broken, with a literal one-for-one trade of me and the bonemass, my battleaxe in it's gut, its fist in my face.
I suspect it's something involving the building physics, but I have nothing to base that on other than more complex buildings+more = worse lag in the specific scenario you're describing. 4 players in the same area w/ a small shack, no problem; tall dock, large problem. The server still crumbles under the weight of 4 players in our base. No idea why that's happening. We are fine as long as we are not together or if we're somewhere else and not in base.
Just took on a smaller project, a friend dug out this huge hole in front of our village because he suspected there was treasure there. Didn't like the view, so I used that space to build our teleporter site there and tried to make it look like an archeological digging site. Sadly most of the bigger stones were mined and gone already (you can see one at the fence), otherwise the look would have been more distinct, but I was too late for that.
One of the updates on the roadmap is called "Ships and the Sea"The normal gameplay is fantastic, but having your own boat and sailing 10 minutes to a place is something else. This is such a fantastic atmosphere, completely different from the rest of the game. It's crazy. I hope they have ideas for extending the on water part, that has huge potential.

This one actually worked, but who can live in a house like this?
A decent chimney (with cover to keep out the rain, who knew)
Made a wooden fireplace. This is not a fire hazard.
I've been using G-Portal on the west coast and have had zero complaints. Is there a growing list of best hosts for dedicated servers anywhere?

Bonemass is hard if you're trying to kill him with arrows because they barely damage him and he regenerates health. Me and my friend tried this the first time and took off about 1/8th of his health before dying after about 15 minutes. The second time we took iron maces and just kited him between the two of us and it was insanely easy, he's super weak to blunt damage and so are the skeletons and blobs he spawns. Its interesting my groups story of bonepass is pretty similar. We brought so many things thinking "oh we have too much, this is overkill" then proceeded to die first attempt. Got him second attempt with everyone on bows the entire time.
Honestly, after beating every boss multiple times, Bonemass is the hardest one imo. Moder is pretty easy to dodge and just pound with arrows. The last boss just run away when he telegraphs fist. However Bonemass just messed us up.
My group just foraged to get the best armor upgraded and are trying to build a massive base in the ashlands. So hard to get out there with supplies that you cannot portal with. Almost done with the harbor that has multiple longships docked in it!
Do bosses scale? I assume it wont do as much damage and have health when I am alone?
I'm kinda surprised the game is not criticized more for how grindy it is. When I wanted a bow and saw I needed 8 leather to make one, I had some doubt but now, 26 hours later, my fears are confirmed: the game asks far too much. In my opinion, the requirements for crafting some items should be at least half less.
I think I'll wait for some balance updates and/or some mods because I'm tired of running around to gather tin, copper and wood to make charcoal.

Dont agree with this at all. The fact that you never need to collect anything to repair your items more than makes up for what you need initially.

The amount of grind you have to do at the start of each tier is quite easy and straightforward and once you finished it you are set for that entire tier and can beat the boss.
Never felt that I was wasting time on grinding in this at all.
Mods are already out that make the game way way easierReally? I guess you are more patient than me then. Personally, I find it grindier than Terraria or Starbound, at least when it's about gear. Anyway, it's an early access survival game, made with Unity, with time some mods will certainly appear. I might find one that'll help me alleviate some of my concerns then. Until that happens, I'll just play something else.
Terraria is grindy af, and I say that with it being my most played game ever. The difference IMO is the pacing, Valheim is a much larger 3D world with less content so progression seems slower. Terraria has tons of content and loot while also being 2D with smaller and more compact worlds so progression feels a bit faster.Really? I guess you are more patient than me then. Now, that's a good news, thx for the info. That was fast, although I had an intuition that was the case. Most popular games always have some mods rather quickly, especially survival game like Valheim.
I just wish they clean the UI and inventory. Maybe having a separate tab/space for the equipment you are wearing and a tab for currencies. I'm always full of items.
Pretty sure that's part of the inventory+weight management of the game.
