It really is, if you think realistically, which the game is trying to be realistic. I worked in a manual labor job, and 90% of the dudes there were not as buff as Abby. Ellie is a realistic rendition of a buff girl in the apocalypse. Abby looks like she needs 3000-4000 calories a day and a gym regiment. Which apparently yes, Abby does go to a gym in the game. It's laughably unrealistic.

To some especially given the world and this being fiction somewhat grounded in reality it comes across as out of place.
no I get your point but you can't expect happy endings in this game of all games.
Like you want to avoid a trope in the most difficult game to avoid that trope in.

Okay the vid is long and good amount is gameplay and some new stuff along with the old .
It also show the context behind why they kill Joel and yes it's the fireflies group that did it .
People not going to like her cause she kill Joel but you can see the context behind it and some of them were not in full out kill mode he was in .
If they had a part 2 i knew they were going to go with the fireflies killing him it made the most sense and that is what happen .
Playing a character from there side it what interesting .

Eh character being buff just isn't one of those things that throws of my suspension of disbelief. Just weird to me it's sticking point for so many people.
Honestly considering it's another thing that'll piss off the same group that's mad Ellie's a lesbian I consider it a bonus.(Please note I'm not saying the people bothered by it here fall into that group.)

I went to the last of us part 2 reddit page hoping to see some leaked footage or theories about the story. Instead all i found was some transphobic and homophobic crap with them complaining about the sjws at ND ruining the franchise. So yeah im also for buff Abby just to piss those shitheads off.
It looks very much like an intro to me including how the credits are implemented. We still havent seen the ending itself lol
Having her fall into that troupe is not great but i mean having a lesbian as a MC in a AAA is a big step .

Well unless she was on a crosstrainer in Gold's Gym surrounded by hundreds of middle aged people saying "new year new me" I don't see what would be so unrealistic about using say dumbbells in a post-apocalyptic world.

Like in TLOU1, fireflies should have just blown Joels head off soon as he went to the hospital, but instead he was escorted out of the building by some dude with a death wish.
It's not just about buff Abby, it's about buff anyone. Her, an enemy type, etc etc

The unrealistic part is the amount of protein and calories she would need. Abby's physique could be the same as Ellie's and fit the plot.

it looks honestly really weird to me, the same way Chris did in RE5. That, in part, may be because games rarely have these extremely muscular body types, for sure.

In terms of protein, the animals never got infected so I'm sure a chicken farm somewhere was doable, or she uses excess protein powder so at the end of the game, her kidneys fail her and she dies anyway. I really wasted my life fixing teeth, should have been a writer. :(
Everybody that has a problem with abbys physique just tell yourself that she found the GNC warehouse plus a lifetime supply of anabolic steroids in that same warehouse. Problem solved.

Yeah I'm getting tired of hearing about it. I in the original trailer I was like, "hmm that's a really fit lady," and then I never thought about it again but people won't shut up about it. Why do you all care so much?
That hard to do since Abby is the only person we see wearing a vest , skin type clothes .
There some NPC and characters that do look fit but you really can't see there muscles .

So we still not see a huge amount if the game really is 20 to 30 hrs long .
That's what I already figured anyway. Her father was a doctor. It's not like all the fireflies were killed. They probably have access to synthetic testosterone amongst other things.
As a big fan of the original, nothing in that lengthy video really struck me as a game I actually want to play. The level or violence and general story beats just don't vibe with me.
