it's at like 2:30AM for me, so i just save the youtube link and watch it next morning. that way you can skip the boring parts too.
yeah the big guns are being saved for ps5/scarlett reveal events and e3 2020.
I thought development wasn't doing so well and was very messy, my bet is probably not.
Geoff's answers suggest that there won't be a new Batman game announcement (since Geoff stated that none of the announcements have leaked yet).
If that is the case.... that teaser WB Montreal posted on Twitter is the weirdest marketing stunt in a while...
I mean it's not a conference, it's about the awards first and foremost, reveals are just a bonus for us
Oh.
Most people wouldn't watch it if it was just awards, this is not the oscars fuck the oscars
I mean I feel like we might have very different reasons for hating the Oscars but why do you think that.
"F**k The Oscars" Says Developer At The Game Awards
Josef Fares, director of A Way Out gives a passionate speech at The Game Awards. For more info, check out the full video post: https://kotaku.com/fuck-the-osc...www.youtube.com
speak for yourself, I mainly watch it for the reveals.I mean it's not a conference, it's about the awards first and foremost, reveals are just a bonus for us
Sounds like the reveals will be weak sauce this year. He doesn't exactly seem to be hyping it up
indie games are getting big enough that big reveals could still happen and i mean if we a BOI reptentence shadow dropped for all consoles you bet people would be all over that.If all/most are big games, 10 sounds like a lot. If most are indies, then yeah that's kinda low. This's the end of this gen, and next gen consoles are yet to have a full reveal so it's kinda expected if a lot are indies.
Yes, zhaug mentioned that.
you're missing the one confirmed new announcement:Assuming that remakes/remasters and rumored-but-not-officially-confirmed games count as "completely unheard of/unannounced games" then this is my stab at the 10:
1. Mass Effect remasters
2. Either a new Crash or a Crash Bash remake
3. PlayDead's new game
4. Jonathan Blow's new game
5. WB Montreal's Batman game
6. Bluepoint's new game (just a teaser, full reveal at Playstation event)
7. Nier remaster/remake
8. Donkey Kong remake (either 64 or DKC)
9. New Kirby
10. Moss 2
One of those announcements was previously confirmed to be the debut title from developer Wolfeye Studios, which was established by former Arkane Studios directors.
Ahh true... then I'll bump out Jonathan Blow's game and put that in
Haha, good one. TGAs are just another advertising platform.I mean it's not a conference, it's about the awards first and foremost, reveals are just a bonus for us
Ya ok Geoff. 🙄
From the quote earlier:
Asked if there are "any reveals that will surprise the hell out of everyone watching" or "any trailers for games people have been waiting forever for," Keighley replied, "Dangerous questions! I'm not sure, everyone reacts differently to things. We're just trying to make the best show we can based on the content available to us!"
Best show we can make based on the content available to us.
Sounds like downplaying to me. "Well we did the best we could this time around but there wasn't much to go around!"
Whatever, don't worry - im still gonna watch your show.
Could you imagine tlou2 and r3make the same week?RE3 is probably released before E3, expect a reveal either Friday or early next week.
He said nothing leak ATM so maybe not.
What is he supposed to say? "Hell yea! We're showing off tons of major ps5/scarlett launch games!"Ya ok Geoff. 🙄

We goes from "Dangerous questions! I'm not sure, everyone reacts differently to things." to this.
So no Batman? He said none of the new announcements has leaked so...
