I'm enjoying the game but I'll wait until they fix bugs and performance in order to continue. I hope they do it before I'm done with Pokemon.
Just finished the game last night. Yesterday morning I literally was at the final door before the last boss fight, but had to leave for most of the day. I have a few achievements to clean up on. It seems some databank entries don't trigger at all? I've waited for about 5 minutes at the faded mural on Bogano and nothing is happening.
On a side note, I'm surprised there's no physical/digital release for the music.
It's wild how this game can go from "Looking incredible and absolutely gorgeous" to "this might be one of the worst looking AAA games out there". The Wookies in particular are laughably bad looking at times. I feel like you can tell the parts of the game they had to really be hasty with to reach the release date.
Yeah, I posted this comparison just comparing character models in another thread. It's wild how this game can go from "Looking incredible and absolutely gorgeous" to "this might be one of the worst looking AAA games out there". 1. Even on Grand Master, the enemies are too dumb to do anything other than their standard attacks. I shouldn't be able to just dodge around the back of them and kill them, especially when difficulty tier mentions parrying.
The game is full of pointless detours though
"go back to the ship"
That's a prime example of something that would've been deemed "not necessary for launch" and cut from the release version. I'd expect it to be patched in at some point hopefully soonAfter beating the game some days ago i started another playthrough and i can't skip cutscenes? Why just why?

There are other things to games than polishI don't understand how Death Stranding and this game can have close to the same metaCritic. US reviewers really suck. They're like a whole console generation apart. Death Stranding is so much better looking, so much more polished and tight.
I even dare to say that I enjoyed Battlefront 2's campaign more than this game. At least it felt polished.
I really like the acting, the art direction, the level design, the metroidvania element and the all the Star Wars Mythos in this game
People have different tastes
It's better than Sekiro to me, that has a very better, tighter and more polish combat in the same style imo
Just finished the story, and I noticed that none of the collected planted seeds had grown at all the whole game, is it a bug or am I missing something?
This blows my mind. The bf2 campaign is a demo compared to Fallen Order.I even dare to say that I enjoyed Battlefront 2's campaign more than this game. At least it felt polished.

Wot. The sineplayer game was a bug riddled mess with the AI just stood there in some cases.I even dare to say that I enjoyed Battlefront 2's campaign more than this game. At least it felt polished.
Yep, I noticed that too.So, great little detail...
When you're in the nightmare sequence after touching the mirror, for the 15 seconds or so Cal is in Inquisitor gear with the red lightsaber, they change the 'saber power on' sound effect to the noise red sabers make when they turn on and off.
Nice little attention to detail in a game that tends to flub a lot on the polish side of things. I appreciate those kinds of little things.
Would you say this game looks a) Good most of the time. Or b) Bad most of the time. ?
Patch notes:
Cool thanks!, I will get it then :)I'm playing it on base PS4 and I think it generally looks fine. Certain parts of the game (wookiee models especially) are bad but most of it looks great to me. The facial animations on Cal and Merrin (and you know who) feel like they're way above everyone else's.
Since the demo had music I feel like it's absence in the b-roll was for copyright purposes.
Finished last night. This is my GoTY 2019. That is all.
You can now go back to attacking one another.
I finished the game during the weekend. I had such a great time. Probably my GOTY, even with the bugs.
Couldn't agree more. Absolutely floored by how much I really enjoyed this game. It has flaws but not enough to stop it from being my GOTY.
Ahhh! Come on Geoff, put it in there. :(
I feel like I am near the end game, so only read this if you finished it.
I've just had half a fight with Trilla on Bogano and seen her flash back.
How long have I got left?
They actually change for every color, but I guessSo, great little detail...

Just finished this - was taking my time with it and trying to 100% it on my first playthrough. Unfortunately, while I found all the chests and secrets, one of the chestsdidn't register as having been opened, denying me the achievement :(the underwater one in the Jedi Temple on Ilum
I really loved it! It was way better than it had any right to be, having only been in development for two years. The characters, story, dialogue, music and visuals all captured the Star Wars vibe perfectly. A strong contender with Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 for my favourite game of the year.
I...I didn't know there were different noises. So, great little detail...

It's interesting/admirable that, for as many areas as they needed to cut corners to meet their release date, they really seemed to have put a lot of their resources into polishing the last couple hours of the game, the part of the game that statistically most players probably won't ever seeSo, great little detail...
