For what it's worth, releasing a niche JRPG in America two weeks before two big massive console launches is the definition of "sending it out to die." They're most likely holding it for the inevitable 2021 drought we will hit due to Covid.

Atlus is just slow when it comes to localizations. Western releases of both Persona 5 and Royal had that about 6 month wait too after japanese launch.
Doubt it. If they do they will have 100 copies available that scalpers will all buy and put on eBay for triple the price. It happens every damn game with Nintendo.
Best SMT (and arguably the best JRPG). I'll be very happy to replay it.

Yeah, SMTV won't come out on PS4 or 5 in the near future, if at all.
I'm glad that Nocturne covers both bases, but it's the exception to the rule due to its origins on PS2. Folks are jumping to conclusions and only setting themselves up for disappointment.
It is funny how Raidou is (again) a invited character in a Megaten remake launched previous to a SMT title. I love Soul Hackers but Nocturne + V is a better combo imho

No. I just like Dante as a character and don't care even a little bit about Raidou. I've never played his games and I don't feel like putting in the insane amount of effort you need to put in to get a character I don't give a shit about.
The Amala Labyrinth is a torture dungeon and Raidou is a shitty reward for doing it.
This is great news! I have the game on PS3 via PS2 Classic release, but I haven't really played it yet, so I will just wait for this remaster to dig into the game.

Dante was an objectively shittier reward considering Pierce makes Raidou actually viable for the True Demon final boss

I actually like Dante. I don't give a shit about Raidou. This is basically a Pokemon game, so a character's usefulness against one specific boss matters less to me than my actual interest in using said character.
Nocturne isn't voiced. Unless they're completely adding voice acting this time around. Is that the plan from the trailers?

Yeah, seems like if we go off the trailer it's getting a dub, which would explain the delay in us getting it next year instead of October.
