I hardly remember anything good about it, if it even had any redeeming qualities. Story about a solar powered city that got overrun by B.O.W.s, two random intolerable clowns as playable BSAA members, Chris having an awful partner character, the character design for Raymond being Handsome Squidward tier... yeah. It's not great.
If the whole game was just on the ship, it would be way better. It's too bad it came out between re5 and 6. If it was now in this era, they might have went all out with the horror aspect.

Was there something shifted in Rev1's development to explain why the game is acting like it is an episodic game before and after each chapter?

OT I know, but I missed the Revelations games and went back to finally play them. Just beat Revelations... man was that a chore to get through... like i didn't hate it, but it was just kinda ok. That's about it.

Yea, I played Rev 1 through last year on PS4 and kind of hated it. Like it started off alright for the early chapters, but by the end, I could not WAIT for it to be over.
The scanning was obnoxious, the environments and pathing got more and more irritating in the latter half. The story went near full stupid. It sank very low on my ranking list. (Though RAID mode is neat)

Need to play REV2 sometime.

I couldn't care enough to be bothered with Revelations 2 after looking into it. Had nothing to do with the first one, never really liked Claire until REmake 2, didn't like Moira at all, hated the idea of going back to the full game co-op focus that had just been relaxed a bit in Rev 1, and ultimately would've only been motivated by Barry coming back.

I enjoyed Revelations 2 for what it was. It's a fun smaller budget Resident Evil game.

Rev1 if it was all like the Jill chapters would be brilliant, the action chapters with Parker and Jessica most are awful. Chris' is OK as they not so heavy handed with the action.

Final boss one of best bosses in the entire series.

There is an alternate universe where re6 is the entirety of the zenobia being the whole game, except a little bigger and more fleshed out.

I'm not sure if recently, but a number of press people played a RE3 demo behind closed doors at TGS before the game was announced.

Sure seems like we aren't getting anything today. Really think it might be dead until March when it will explode with previews/possibly a demo a few weeks before launch

I'll avoid any demo for this just like I'm avoiding any potential demo for FFVII. I know what I'm getting into, I can wait. I want the full experience.

Even though it was a repeated area, I think the Parker sections are really good. The second Parker section is the most ammo scarce part in ANY resident evil game. They really sold the intensity of that part well.

No word at all so far on additional costume DLC or the original OST.
The only reason why we might not be getting the original music is because locations and the mood in certain reworked scenes don't match but they could have like a semi-original OST.

Did he ? I've played it multiple times and I don't think he ever appeared.
And I don't see where since RE3 in UC was just "Let's walk to the RPD, here's Nemesis, go to the roof, the end."
He appeared in Ada's scenario, he was the guy Sergei was escorting from Raccoon City. It was never stated that's he's Spencer, but there was only one old, important, wheelchair-bound guy introduced in the RE series.

I really dont know why people want a demo when the game is so close. Just wait a couple more weeks.
About the only thing I want to know is how the new dodge works, wither through a demo or previews. It is kinda ridiculous that we're about a month and a half away from release with no gameplay video yet though.

When's new info coming out? A gameplay trailer perhaps? Game is almost out with no big marketing push or coverage unlike RE2 has me worried a bit now.

I'm just really curious to see how the game is running performance wise. Given that it's been in concurrent development with Resident Evil 2 and running off of the same RE Engine, I'm hoping for the same 60fps experience, at least on Pro and X.

Not that I am worried, but I do echo this same sentiment. The hype level for RE2 was bonkers crazy through the roof. For RE3 it just kinda comes in short jolts. We are, amazingly, now less than 7wks until release. This should start going crazy with previews/gameplay any week now.

I'm in this boat too, hopefully we get a breakdown/confirmation soon.

Honestly Revelations just needed
Keith & Quint cut 1000%
Jessica and Parker cut down or adjusted,
Chris with someone like Rebecca instead would have been amazing
or entirely replace Parker with Chris and eliminate that entire contrived element of the plot.

I still loved Revelations 1 but it had a bit of the RE6 effect, doing too much and going too far in the wrong ways.
like I just replayed it in the last month and completely forgot the reason for the Chris Redfield mannequin and theatrics already.
