The first game I saw on a console was some kind of moon rover game on Atari and I was hypnotized.

Later on I went over someone's house and they had a nintendo with super mario and it was over. I was obsessed.

I don't play as much these days but I still enjoy gaming.

I was born in 1980. My siblings had an Atari 2600 that I would play a lot. I got my own NES for Christmas when I was 5. So yeah, I'm old.

Born in 88. Not sure exactly when I started playing, but it feels like the early 90s, so I'm guessing I'm just about at the 30 year threshold. Pretty vividly remember having an NES and Atari 2600. Super Mario Bros. 3 on the former and The Empire Strikes Back on the latter were my jam.

A decade is ten years yes, but decades start at 80 and end at 90 for example, you can have played in 89 only and still played in the 80's decade.
